This 215-000-0000 is a used-by-all outgoing call generators, number blocking thing, apparently.

I just received a legitimate call from this number, from Clinique Customer Service, regarding a complaint I had contacted them about.

So even if this odd number shows up on your caller ID, it does not necessarily mean that it is a sales call, scam, or someone from whom you do not wish to hear.

This guy keeps calling my son from this number saying he's the secret service and he's going to come arrest his mother... we called back and it goes to a switchboard. When he called back again he gave my son a badge number and told him to google him that he's the real deal. Everytime he calls he tells my son he's from a different place philadelphia,virginia,north carolina... I am tired of it already.. we told him to add us to the not call list and he became irrate.. fed up

I did not answer the call.  Caller ID showed this number.  I put it on my blocked spam list - don't know if that will work!!!!!

I got a scam call from 215-000-0000.  The fellow identified himself as Dave White gave me his ID number to be 5960. Said he could lower my interest rates. I asked him to give me his telephone number, that I would give him information only if he gave me his telephone number and I could call him back. He told me that only his manager could give me a phone number, so I asked him for his manager, who identified himself as Dwayne Parnell.  He also said he would not give me his telephone number until I had given him some information (the expiration date on my American Express card). When I demanded his phone number first, he then started to curse me out in the most vile language I have ever heard. I am 75 years old and have heard a lot in my life, but never anything as completely awful as this.  

I called AT&T and they steered me through a way to block future phone calls from this phone number. Since the phone number is from southeastern Pennsylvania, I'm hopeful that blocking this number will not block any future legitimate calls.

got a call from this company today to "lower my visa/master-card interest rates"  I asked to have my name removed... he refused.  So i listened.  The man stated "that his records show that I've paid my visa on time" I politely told him that I only have an American Express that I pay off in full each month... He then proceed to say "then why the f**k did you take my call" and hung up.

Got this call at 218pm 9/26/13- so, luckily not early or really like some people have reported...I picked up, automated message telling me about lowering my CC...(I don't have any CC's -so pretty funny)  Option 1 was to speak to an operator, another option was if I had already accepted a lowered rate in the last 48hrs.  So, I hit option 1 to find out who this company name is and to get removed from their calling list...As, I am on the Do Not Call Registry.  Got Indian Accented Male- who when asked what the name of this company was, told me Credit Account Services (or something along those lines) but no real name of the company this was credit services for.  He told me they were able to lower my CC's, I stopped him right there, told him, I have no Credit Cards, and only have a debit card (- which is true).  He proceeded to argue with me and state "Well, Maam, I see you do use credit cards", I told him again, NO- I have no credit accounts..And to put me on the Do Not Call List- he then hung up on me.....Please anyone who gets call from these scammers report them to the FTC...  If you are on the Do Not Call Registry- report to :   www.DoNotCall.gov   - if you are not registered- you can also register your phone#'s here.  It will take 30 days for your numbers to be taken off of call lists...Then you can start reporting this mental midgets.
You can also report to:   www.FTCComplaintAssistant.gov ...  They will eventually get fined, until they start using other phone#'s or fake company names.

I have a friend who got a call from this number, They were driving, so they only looked at their phone, but as they put the phone down they accidentally answered it. Whoever it was hung up, but I wonder if they will call back.  Sure hope not from what others have said!.

I got a call from this number too. If he is calling you on an apple phone or android just downloading call blocker is the simplest thing to do.

Didnt answer and glad i see what it was before i get scammed turning this fone number into my fone company to auto block it and itll tell them my number is no longer in service anyone else who is getting repeat fone calls i suggest u do the same

I guess I could consider myself lucky my call from them came at 11:00 AM.
I wasn't near my phone so I didn't answer.  I won't of answered it any way.

No phone exchange starts with "0".  The caller ID is being spoofed.  I never answer a phone number that's bogus.  I let it go to voice mail.

We are getting phone calls from this number asking for Charlene Grant.  We tell them they have the wrong number.  They ask if we know Charlene Grant.. We tell them we have no idea who she is and they inform us they will remove the number from the list, but low and behold the call back again and again.  Big time scam..

A coworker got this phone number on his caller id. He has no credit card and wasnt dumb enough to answer anyways

This number just called me I answered and said to please take me off the list. the Indian guy said you called me B#TCH and to bad. Then proceeded to call me names.

i actually made the mistake of answering this call. it was a man with an Indian sounding accent claiming to be from "account services" (refused to tell me which bank) & claiming they can lower my interest rate and I have more than $4k in credit card debt (impossible as I only have 1 card and its limit is $2k). REFUSED to take me off of his list, claimed he WAS the manager and kept yelling at me about "WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO PAY OFF YOUR DEBT"

This number called me several times over the last couple of weeks everyday and it was first let us refinance your mortgage, then it was are you interested in magazine subscriptions and now the best one was "this is the secret service give us you home address, birth date and social security number or else" Talk about scam.. they call the same number and try different things. Also had a lot of silence on the other end calls..

A "reduce your credit card rate" robo-caller.  Pressed 1 to speak to operator because there was no option to be removed from calling list.  Did the operator know the name of our credit card bank?  Too hard to understand her heavy hispanic accent.  She guessed at the balance on our card (off by 30%).  She hung up when we asked to be placed on their do not call list.

Got a call today from 215-000-0000 about bank card told caller to remove my nunber the caller then ask me what is a sand n****r is that his last call called him that I politely tried to explain what the term meant and told him is was a racist bigoted term used  by some for some one from the middle east he did say he was in  Pakistan well after I was and sure he under stood I went to end the call and he did say thank you sir then said sir one more thing I said yes what is that sir you are a sand n****r  F--- Y--- and hung up.Well really what else can I say after that.Just another unhappy phone call center worker who most likely hated Americans to start with any way right.

A recording that says  they are going to lower your interest rates on your credit card.  Sure it is a scam.

How do you stop this number?  We are on Do Not Call.  Won't let you talk to a human....just keep disconnecting you and calling back.

To answer your question-- as posted earlier, these are mainly addicts making the calls, working on a commission, to earn money to support their habits, by fooling folks into giving them their credit card numbers. They sure are a pathetic group of losers, but we shall show no concern for them, as they have created their own miserable life. There are also a group of decent people who become "losers", when they are taken advantage of by these lowlife scammers, and those are the ones we must warn before they are cheated!

This number is currently being used by the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an effort to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers so they can rip us off. People that have given their card number to these lowlifes have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these junkies, and warn others before they are cheated!

This is hilarious. I received this call to "lower my rates". Uh yeah, ok. So, I pushed one to go through to speak to an agent to get my name on their do not call list officially. The man asked how I was, i said "fine, thanks, please put me on your do not call list." His response "do you even know why I am calling?" My response, "doesn't matter...put me on your do not call list." Then he said, "You just need to hold on for two minutes." I said, "uh, no I don't. I'm an attorney...when I ask you to not call me, you have to follow it. Sir, what's your name/id#?" "You're being a f@#$ing b@#ch! F#%@ you!" LOLLOL!  Ooh, I'm all riled up now. But seriously, how can they do this and who are these losers with this pathetic job????
