Another scam similar to this is from number 323-800-2960.  Don't answer them.

Go a message from this number saying the my attention is requested.  When I call it is a recorded message asking for my debit card number in order to reactivate it.  I don't have an account with California CU.....

I got the exact same message, and then a second one from 323-800-2960 saying California CU Card funds blocked and to call.  I don't have any card with this company.....

if you are a verizon customer. forward the text to 7726. verizon will text you back asking the call from number which is usually different then what is in the text. this california cu spam is coming from a @vtext.com address. report to verizon!!!

It is a scam, I've been receiving messages for a California credit union these last three days with the same number to call.

I have received at least 8 texts from this company. I called the number back and they ask you to input your debit card #. They are saying they are from California CU. I don't know who they are. Be careful!

can someone please tell me how I can stop these texts. I have no business with these people with these #'s. Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.

I got a text saying account is restricted call this # I called from a pay phone and it's always busy.....

Echoing what Fran said.  FORWARD SPAM TO 7726 IF YOU ARE A VERIZON WIRELESS CUSTOMER.

I got this from a cacu@vtext.com today.  Last night I got the same text from 424020403@vtext.com.

This is a scam.

IF YOU ARE A VERIZON COSTUMER FORWARD MESSAGE TO 7726.

They can investigate. Is not comming from verizon, is someone who has a verizon account sending mass texts. I contacted the costumer service at verizon and they told me that there are a lot of scam/spam issues at the moment and if there are any concerns to give them a call. You can go to verizon wireless dot com and there is a section for spam blocking. At the bottom it says that if you still have the message on your device to forward it to the 7726 number, you will not be charge for forward it in and they will send you a thank you message as well (free of charge).

(California CU) Call: 215 310 0133. Your immediate attention is needed.  

It came in at 2:14pm

Scam got a text from 205bcs@vtext.com to call this number..it was a recording that told me to enter my cc # with all these complaints when is someone going to do something about it?

Received same message twice. First contact claiming they were from Beneficial Bank, second contact told me it was in regard to First Savings.

I have gotten 3 i the past 3 days from this number. Now, on to better things.. anyone know how to stop it?

They called themselves California credit union. Scam is right.

vtext is a verizon texting service. I use verizon I called customer service. They had me had me forward the text to 7726. That is their fraud text # so that it could be investigated. If you use verizon call them and see for yourself DONT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT. If it works for you though give me a thumbs up to let me know.

I just got the same text in Houston do we know someone in common maybe secret

I just called it from a secure landline and it asks you to enter your debit card number.....if you don't put a valid one in and just keeps asking and asking.  I want to text it back and threaten severe bodily dismemberment.....but I don't want to risk any charges to my cell account from them.  If ever I find where the are from....they will wish they had never been born.  For reals.

I got the text. I offered my account #, including pin!!!!! Stupid. Luckily I figured it out within 30 seconds and cancelled my card! I am always talking about how stupid people are to do this!

The text said (Security notification) Please contact Plus 4 C.U. @215-310-0133.
The text came from5161st@vtext.com   I'm sure its a big fat scam.
