They called and didn't leave a message, my phone said PA, USA.

they just called me its a 1.95 now.i just stayed on till thet point and hung up.sounded good but if your going to get something for teying something out for someone and thats your gift you shouldnt have to pay for it.i know a job is a job but i couldnt work for a company thats scamming people

These people called me on my work # and told me I was to receive a $100.00 gift card and a $50.00 gift card and be given sample products to try for doing a survey last week.

I knew I did not do a survey last week nor any time I can recall (they are always a setup) so I knew this was not legit.

When I asked exactly what survey I did she got real rude and proceeded to give her speech all over again, that is until I put my phone down next to the TV and let her talk to it until she realized and hung up lol.

I got this call for the first time today. I almost answered as my husband suffers from diabetes and has multiple appointments but I noticed the area code and chose not to answer. Then I looked up the number and was brought to this site. Thank you all very much for taking the time to post this info. I do not have time or money to waste on scams like this.

P.S.  Call was listed on caller I.D. as APPOINTMENT.

Just got a call at work (Minnesota) from 'Appointment' as well.  Number was 215 383 3421.  Did not answer and of course, they did not leave a message.

Got a cluster of calls in a week from this number in PA, plus St Louis, plus Georgia. When I looked up the numbers on this site they are basically the same; offering free stuff in exchange for my address and credit card number.

keep getting this calls. they need to stop wasting my mins. i didnt pick up.

Just received call from this number but I picked up line and no one spoke, the I'd says home security though.

I don't usually answers these calls but I was a expecting a phone call from a 215 area code, Any way woman on the phone stated I received a 100.00 gift card for filling out a survey but that I needed to provide my address. By providing my address I would receive free samples of various products that they would compensate me with an additional 50.00 restaurant gift card. The operator forwarded to me to "manager" to complete the process in which automated computer service to verify my eligibility... I finally hung up the phone when they stated I need to pay activation fee of $1.50 to get my piece. SCAM!

I am so glad there are websites like this that tell people about these scams.  I don't answer numbers I don't know and this number just called and I didn't answer it. Good thing I didn't, cuz it's a SCAM according to everyone else writing on this page so thank you for letting me know!

Called and started talking about sending free samples to trial.  Said that I had filled out a survey and they just needed to verify a shipping address.  They called on my work landline which I guarantee I have never put on a survey.

I'm in Idaho, received a phone call from this number requesting my address so that they could mail me 100.00 gift card for having filled out survey. I had not filled out any online survey's so at that point I declined to provide my address.

Claims to be alarm company wanting to do install for free just for placing a sign in yard. Double legitimate since in Pennsylvania 1,000 miles away! Got another call from company out of California with exact same recording!

a** holes keep calling, even though I pressed the do not call button, and lately talked to a person telling them so, and he hung up...................scam scam scam...........next time I will play along with them and see how long I can keep them on the phone before cutting them off.

Got call yesterday about appointment per caller ID.  They will remove me if I give them my number!  it is the same company from SE Pennsylvania.  Talk about sneaky tricks!!

How do we put these people in jail? Everytime they call I click the number to be on their so-called 'don't call list'. but it does no good whatsoever.

A caller ID message "Appointment" was a company selling home security systems. We asked they remove us from their listing.

called came in with Appointment and number 1 215-383-3421, no message.  Called two more times later in the day.  If I want a alarm system I will call, until that time they need to leave me alone!

Same here. We're in Iowa. We let the machine record message. Really: "free" home security system just for putting a sign in the yard?  They want something and are willing to lie upfront to get it. Also, they ignore the do not call list which makes them twice as revolting.

same here in Ok--I called it back and it was a marketing company and asked for the number that we want put on the do not call list.  No way would I enter my #-----it's a way for them to SELL our private numbers!

They called yesterday, I didn't answer it.  I am ALSO in Oklahoma...we just had 4 women murdered in their home in Tulsa last week.It is unsolved.  Could these "home security" people be targeting areas that have just suffered home invasion crimes because they know people in the area could be afraid??  
That is DISGUSTING!  To not only harass people with annoying calls is bad enough, but to target areas where people are afraid for their safety is deplorable!

I just got that call today, too, 1/14/2013.  Caller ID said Appointment.  Number was 215-383-3421.  I didn't answer it.  I've been reporting calls like this to the FCC.
