"Rex" called me from "global" and said his boss just got him a bunch of free home depot cards and wants to share them with me as a past customer. When questioned and told him I was not interested I was hung up on.

this is some guy stating he is from Global Direct and it in regards to lighting....he is rude and when you put him on hold he is gone.  Did a search and my story is the same as the others.  "Frank" needs to be reported and gone.

mine was from Global Direct as well.  this time "frank". I am calling number back at this moment to allow it ring continuously.  i very politely offered to "take his info for our maintenance manager because he's difficult to contact via phone"... got hung up on, which is slightly more polite than a stab in the neck, but still unnecessary :)

Guy called asked to speak to Maintenance Mgr. told him we didnt have one, he said yes you do, again told him no we dont. He said well someone called me it's on the caller ID and they left a message. Asked him what was message about, he said it was about 50" ballast. i asked him did they leave a name he said no, and then he asked me if  I had a pen, I said "yes", i was guessing he was going to give me a message, instead he said you know what take me off your list and stab yourself in the neck with your pen..I replied "ok"?????.....and then he hung up.....My caller ID showed Global Direct with the number 215-396-2869.

called and said his name was Matt from United.  He know my name and said something weird like "you sound different, did you get a new haircut?"  Mentioned the Home Depot card, T8's, etc.  Wanted my home address (denied).

i receive this same call asking for PO#

called asking for address and information. said we won a gift card from home depot. Guy wanted my Home address and was asking personal questions about myself.

I received a phone call from this exact same number. I spoke to a man named "matt". He claims that this company is United Industrial Janitorial Supplies. He claims to be a wholesaler of Janitorial Supplies. The call was regarding light bulbs and a free prepaid debit card.

Called about lights. Sending catalog. Thought we've done business in the past but I've never worked with that company. name of the company was either Crown or Crown Lighting
