I received a call from this number saying my credit union debit card was suspended and to press 1 to reactivate the card. Notified my credit union and they posted alerts on their website about this scam.

I got a call this evening and told me to call this number to activate .... They did not talk to clear and was hard to understand them and the time was an hour later than EDST.

I have received 2 calls from this phone number to re- activate my account.  They talk so fast, I can't even get the name of the "financial institution".  It asks to push one to activate.  I've hung up each time.  Appears that this may be a scam and someone is attempting to open accounts using other people's phone numbers.

Got a call on my cell from the same number -- a recording that said it was American National Bank and that due to a fraud alert my debit card had been cancelled.  It wanted me to "press 1" to speak to a representative.  I pused the "save" button on my phone to make sure I saved the number and the call ended.  

I do not have a card with American National Bank.

i get a call every morning,from these people i dont know what they want ,i never answer. but is getting to be a pain in the rear.

I got a call 4 minutes ago but I didn't answer it.  When I called back I the message was phone was disconneted or no longer in service.

I got a weird call from this number too...with a similar message about some cancellation; option 1 sounded like some confirmation of the cancellation

I called the number back; I get the " This number is no longer in service..." message.

I received a call from this number yesterday.  I did not answer because I do not know this number.  I am on a do-not-call list.  I have had no dealings with this number before.

This number called using an opensource PBX solution from digium.  The call could have sourced from anywhere in the world and could easily spoof this actual number.  The person trying to run the scam didn't set up the software correctly and I listened through the prompts and selected option 500 which is supposed to connect me to someone from the calling source but instead it routed me to digium sales which is the default configuration of the software if improperly configured.  So in all, the number is really irrelevant because these types of software solutions can spoof any number they want to your caller id.

I got a call from this number saying my credit card from _______ credit union has been suspended. I don't bank or have a card at that credit union...

Rec'd a garbled call today from 801-804-7064 telling me my CC had been suspended due to possible fraud.  "Press 1 if you want to reactivate, press 2 to exit."  I hung up without pressing any numbers.

I recieved the same mesage at about 500am saying my ATM was blocked and to press 1 to so I could talk to someone for more information.

I received a call from 801-804-7064 at 6:52 am on 7/1/2010.  A call that early is usually only from family.  I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  I never answer unknown calls on my cell phone or land line phone.  I appreciate this site.  It is a big help!

Got a phishing call today from this number and from 8438846884.

Just got a call from this number and googled it immediately and came to this site...what a blessing this site is.  Thanks for the info all.

received call from 8018047064.  Same as other people.  did not give information.

Robotic message regarding my account. No other information was given. How are they getting my number? And really, what do they want.

Didn't pick up and they don't leave a message. Must not be important.

I was asked for the 16 digits on my card, the pin number and the expiration date.

Got a call around 6:00 am from this number saying my credit card had been cancelled and to press 1 to reactivate.  Sounded like a scam so I hung up, especially since they called so early.  They're probably calling early to try and get people before they're fully awake.

Got the same message myself from 1-801-804-7064. Calling my bank now.

Got the same call as others from this number about 3 minutes ago.  Robotic voice stated that it was from (local bank name where I do not have an account) and that a bank card number had security breach. Was obviously a scam, so I hung up before the recording even finished.  It was my cell phone, which is also on the do not call list.

Received call from this number in the a.m. about 9:00, did not answer.  I dialed the number back within 15 mins. got a message that this number was no longer in service, how weird is that?  Mother also received a call that said her ATM was suspended, she told me she doesn't even have one.  I told her it sounded like someone fishing for information, in other words a scam, a fraud.

Got a call from this # at 7:45AM with a message that my account was suspended. Hung up. Checked the ATM on my way to work and account was fine. I called the number on caller ID and got a message that it was disconnected. SOB's.

Because they are spoofing the caller ID and are not using a call back PBX for the scam, they're only attempting to get information from the original call they make. No way to trace that.

Just got a call on my cell from this number.  Also got the message that the number was not in use when I tried to call back
