Today, I received another one of these calls, so finally, instead of hanging up, I listened to the recording, waited, and pushed 1 to sign up....I got a woman with who I asked why they were leaving me automated messages about 5 x per day. She said "i am not leaving you messages, we are trying to protect your safety", I said "you call me, or your company does, and leave me messages daily. I am happy with my home safety company and want you to stop calling me", after a brief pause, she said "Are you leaning on me?" I said "Excuse me?!", She said "Are you leaning on me, I didn't do nuttin' to you?!, then hung up on me. NICE !!!! This company needs to be stopped, but how?! Sounds like a scam to me. Next time they call, I will press 9 to stop receiving the messages. Hope no one falls for whatever it is they are selling.

Received a call on 11-07-2011 with a recorded female voice saying, "Don't hang up this is not a sales call... did you know homes are broken into every 10 seconds in the United States... if you are interested in protecting your family, press 1; if you are not interested in protecting your family, press 2."

We are on both our state's and the federal no-call list.

During the past week have received (3) calls from 215-502-2115. Not home for any of these calls. No message left. Had heard from others about this number. Am on the "do not call list". PLEASE, there must be some way to stop this.

Got the same recorded msg.  After hitting 2 ( on 11/1/2011) they called again on 11/2/2011.  I am on the national "do not call list."  I have reported this phone # to the do not call registry

They are searching for "live" phone numbers to use for telemarketing. If you press 1 or 2 they know it is a good phone number connected with a real person.

When I recalled the number, a fake operator in a female voice said the number was disconnected.

Same here.  Received a call today (10/31) @ 9:27 a.m.  No message was left.  Called 215-502-2115 and recorded voice says this number is NOT IN SERVICE.  Surprise, surprise.

Got a robo-call from these scumbags today. Another "lower your credit card interest rate" scam. i pressed 1 to speak with a representative, who hung up when I told her she was violating federal law by phoning a number on the Do Not Call list. She hung up.

I believe it's important that EVERYONE who receives these calls should "press 1 to speak to a representative": If everyone did this they'd be literally swamped and unable to speak to the few callers who might really fall for their pitch.

Hi!  I tried to report this call, and others like it, but apparently in Ohio (where I am) only Ohio companies can be reported to the AG office.  I post to the DNC list as a complaint anyway.

Another non-sales sales call from some business stating that we're something or another from or with the FBI.....

Just got  a robo call from this number.  Was for a security system.

Yep, this came on my house phone today. No message left.

I stayed on the line to ask what company was calling and they refused to identify the company.  When I said I wanted to call the FTC, Erica, the sales representative, hung up.

I also just received a call from the same number no message was left I tried to call back and it says the number is not in service and it show philadelphia pa on caller id

Is this number targeting only rural areas?
Has everyone on DNC registry reported the calling number to their state AG?

Saw someone had called phone while out so Googled the number and see it is once again telemarketing at its' "finest"....or worst as the case may be!!!

Interesting marketing- Look around your neighborhood-about a week ago  we had "Mysterious" sign appear on side of road that was white with red letters- something like: " Burglaries have been reported in this area"  I live in the middle of no-where. Now all the sudden this automated call came from "Philadelphia PA" today 10/20/2011-same script that others have described.  How amazingly coincindental!  Please post if you have also spotted these signs in your neighborhood- Thx!

got a call today from them. called the number back and received a robotic message that the number is not in service at this time.  What??  I am on the DNC list as well.  So frustrating...

Got the same call a few minutes ago...as soon as my answering machine picked up they disconnected. When i called back i got a recording that the number is not in service...Jerks!

Nothing like using fear to sell a product....   I just got a call from this number and got a hang-up.  Sometimes I wonder why I have a home phone.  It's only causing headaches with these calls.

Clearly this *is* a sales call.  Tried calling the caller-ID number back to identify what scum company this was (I should have listened long enough so I had the name to report as DNC violation).  Wouldn't you know that the number comes back as "not in service."

THIEVES trying to protect you against other THIEVES?  I don't think so.
