That call my home my mother and my work using the names agents Jeff, Cruz saying they gave a warrant and want my location the said that will take my mother to also If I don't pay.  I file a police report and change my number they say if from united nationsl bank and I owe 20 thousands but if I pay 2156 with a greendot money pak it will go away I did not pay.

Ignore them.  Total scam.

Do not talk to them.  Hang up when they call.  This is an attempt at extortion.  Go to the local police and make a complaint.  Don't give them any information.  DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY.  This is an extortion gang operating out of India.

Make sure you go to local police and report this.  If they call again tell them it is extortion and that they are being reported.

Just happened to me they  called my job trying to get me fired what do I do.

Today I received a voice mail from a foreign person stating that they were from the National Fraud Prevention Center phone: 215-525-6896, stated that it was urgent and for me to call.  I did not recognize the number so therefore did not answer.   He stated that this was a crominal matter and that I needed to return the call immediately or I would be arrested.

Just happened to me

Calling about a judgment that was filed against me.

I received the same message today, with the same docket number FS2093-2014. They claim as well to be from the Federal Law enforcement agency. This was the same person, he said his name was officer Roberts. He told me I had a judgement against me as well. He wouldn't answer none of my questions.

A man with a very thick foreign accent called my job and said he was Agent Robert King and wanted to notify me of a fraud claim against my Social Security Number and that he was going to take me to court. And wished me good luck if I ignored the call :)

May 28,2014 Agent Jeff Edward called and left a message on my phone saying that I owed a fast pay loan of $ 500. 00 and that an officer was on the way to arrest me.  I told them I had no loan out and they would not give me the name or phone number of this place.  They have got me so upset.  is there anything I can do?

It's a scam.  Ignore them.

i received a message from my job that a casey williams called from the national fraud center and needed a return call to talk about a claim. i called an a foregin guy answered never spoke to a casey williams. they wanted me to pay 2360 i told them i have no money then they wanted me to pay 1500, i said still have no money. the agent on the phone stated that  if i could come up with 150 that this is a federal restutuion to hold until i can pay all. i asked how to i pay just to see responds they said, cash only no bank account involved. they would give me information when i was ready to pay 150, by today if not it was going to a jury.

Yes, it is a total scam.  Originates in India.   If someone calls you offering you something and/or threatening you and they have an Indian accent, you can be 100% sure it's a scam.

It is truly unfortunate.
The scammers' intent is to get targets so worried, that the mark hurries to pay money, before investigating the claims or the caller.  The scammers are indeed sufficiently successful that the scam is worth repeating.

If you have the time and the inclination, wander around the site at the link I gave, and tell your friends ... it is always good to "spread the word" about the scams, so people can educate and help protect themselves.

Thanks for the link.  It is incredible to me that so many people fall for these scams.  All the scammers need to do is coerce a few people a day, and they remain in "business."

Definitely a scam.  Received a similar call.  The woman said there were papers filed at the Courthouse against my name.  From offices of Davey Cruz.  Poor thing - she could barely read the script they use much less sound convincing.  Criminal/civil matters are never handled this way in the US.  These people need to Google the numbers they use and read what we say about them.  Don't worry.  Don't answer.  Don't reply.

Dont be scared is a scam

Got a call on my work voicemail stating that they were the National Fraud Prevention Center and her name was officer Jane Cruise!! Scared me to death!! Is this a scam? Please help!

Just got a call at work and said I had a bench warrant out for my arrest for a criminal matter and I told them I can't be contacted at work and hung up!

I've got you all beat. I have been receiving calls from this number since April 22 2014. They are starting with Robert King then being transferred to Agent Jimmy Brown of the National Fraud Prevention Center. They are now calling my place of employment. I spoke with our local FBI office then went down then and spoke to someone else. Unfortunately they cannot do anything about this. My employer has now instructed our customer service dept just tell them "this has been turned over to legal". These people are really stupid. At one point I received 23 calls in 15 min. Just call and hang up.  That is sure what a real federal agency would do.

called saying i had criminal record which i dont. asking for money or would be arrested . told them he was a scammer after they can barely speak the english languatge. Told him god will judge him and he said I will cry when i get arrested. He got really upset and I told him god bless you but thanks for taking the time to call me.

Had the same cal  Both guys had thick indian accents and called from a loud call center.  They were very rude.  The first guy said he was Officer Robert King, The second guy said he was officer Mark Williams.  Called my cell and work.  Claimed there were fraud charges against my name and social with United Nations Bank.  I asked him for the case number and he kept dodging my questions.  I did a reverse phone look up while on the phone with him and this is a spoofed number.  It belongs to some person named Sheila in Philadelphia PA.  I told him I was going to file a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission since I did a reverse look=up with him on the phone.  He tried to call back and I let it go to voice mail.  He could barely talk he was flustered.  Said he was forwarding charges to local authorities have a blessed day.

i just got a call 3 times the first one they asked to speak to me and i told them no they may not and to not call this number again please, and then they tried it 2 more times i just didnt answer but they left a message about there was court papers against me and he was foreign and in a loud place i heard loud noises in the background, (people talking)
