The recorded message says it's an offer from "The Carpet Cleaning Company." You press 1 if you're interested in their offer (49 dollars for two rooms and hallway) and then a live person comes on the line. The person seemed distracted and confused till I mentioned the carpet offer. I asked if they were in my town and he said yes. When I requested the local phone number he hung up.
I suspect this is a scammer phishing for credit card numbers.
