On a serious note, a wild animal doesn't belong in a home. It belongs in the forest or a secured safari. When it comes to loyalty, a dog is more loyal than a human being.

You would have to have permits for for those type of animals!! Dogs do listen, and they are loving, loyal,and intelligent!!

There are times I thought of having a Lion or a Tiger as a pet but then I thought that it might backfire on me. If the owner forgets to feed a wild animal for one day, the owner becomes the wild animals meat. You never know when a wild animal can get mad. Dogs on the other hand listens.

Rocky(my Boxer/Lab) is not only an exceptional guard dog, he is very adept at picking out "bad" people! I agree--if you don't come to the door to let us know you're here, what are you up to?

Anyone that gets into someone's house unannounced has something to hide. Even though people are naive, dogs can sense all sorts of emotions including criminals.

I agree! It just kills me that he goes house to house, leaving flyers!!  My husband had called a man about doing some repair work for us. Well, the guy was at our neighbors place and just walked over, unannounced. My hubby had no idea he was out there, and let our dogs out. Needless to say, it could have turned out badly! Our Boxer/Lab is an exceptional guard dog, thank goodness my hubby stays with them when their out!!

Strangers waling into yards in my neighborhood wouldn't get far--someone would report it to the police!!

Legit companies with a return address will mail their ads instead of sending strange people to put "flyers" in people's yards. An address must be included with the phone number.

To me, it seems risky just walking up someones driveway or into their yard!! To me, legit business people do not operate that way.

Julie, I think they put it where they do so someone like myself can see right away what they are talking about.  As soon as I saw the notice I could see how bad my main wire was.  I would have never know otherwise. Thanks guys!

If thats a legit company, then I take back what I said. If its not, I stand by my statement.

What are you talking about Payback?  All company information is on the flyer!  Call and they will come out let you know where your system stands.  If you want they will make the repairs, even work with you as far as a paymaent plan!  They told me they never let money stand in the way of our house being safe!  Thanks Arthur!

He put a flyer "in your driveway"? Why wouldn't he put it under the wiper blade of your vehicle, or perhaps hang it on your door?

Just had work done by Arthur Carroll & I was very pleased.  He put one of those yellow cards in my driveway & it was a great wake up call to how out dated & unsafe my electric was.  I researched his number on web n he's legit!  Thanks Arthur, Job well done!

No, it isn't.  This guy (Arthur Carroll) walks down driveways looking for business.  He puts yellow hangers on some houses that say, in part, "Electrician working in area noticed your main electrical entrance wire is in dangerous condition.  Call now and speak with a live electrician."  No address on it.  The number traces back to an unlisted cell phone.
