I got an email from these people, every concerning since they had my full name, email address, home address, telephone number and ssn. I called the number and no Steve Matthews works there and they know nothing about the email, which I find hard to believe since I found other people complaining about them and they pasted a word for word copy just with different names so I'm sure I'm not the first person to call and ask about this. I replied to the email and didn't hear back, so I'm not really sure what to do next. But I have to do something since these people have all of my personal info, if anyone finds out what to do and posts it that would be a huge help.

I have been sent an email with them as well...anyone actually do any research?

Take the email & show the full header of it. There are many articles on the internet on how to do it, & it is not difficult. In there you will find the senders IP address. Searching it will tell you where in the world the email originated from. Yes, they can be faked, but you will still find a lot of useful information. I also suspect that although the Law firm was real, the sender used a free web based email account, or a close fake of the original. Many scammers use gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc.

THis person sent me an email saying his name is  Senior Attorney Steve Mathews from Morgan, Lewis law Associates and he said I was doing fraudulent crap.  I called the law firm and he doesn't work there.
