Got a missed call on my cell a couple of hours ago (Verizon Wireless is my carrier FWIW).  No message left.  Hopefully it's a one time thing.

Just got a call from this number...very annoying!!

Just got one my cell. Didn't answer and looked it up here. I see others have dealt with these scammers before.

I second what some have said; complaining to the government about violations to the Do Not Call / Text doesn't always work. I've gotten postcards from them telling me there was nothing they could do when I've submitted a complaint. I do believe I get fewer such calls than I would otherwise, but it's hard to enforce. :P

Got the same lame telemarketer recorded message...  Wanting to sell me Auto Insurance..  I've been on the DO NOT CALL list for over 4 years and renew every year...  Too bad the government doesn't use their telephone tracking skills to go after these idiots....

KEEPS CALLING MY CELL ...I HAD SOMEONE STEAL MY CREDIT AND NOW GETTING ALL KINDS OF CALLS I DON'T KNOW OR ANSWER AT HOME AND MY CELL

Missed call was received on my cell phone (number has been registered on the Do Not Call Registry) and no message was left on my voice mail.  I returned the call from a POB landline.  Auto message provided you with an option to speak to a live operator for a reduced auto insurance rate or press another number to prevent future phone calls.  Well, the option to stop future phone calls does not work!  

Dialed again to speak with a live operator.  The first message that comes on is a recording to advise you that your phone call is being recorded for quality assurance.  I spoke with a customer service representative named Matt and asked to have my cell phone number immediately removed from all of their phone lists.

Caller Id "No Name".  Hung up as I answered.  I'm annoyed especially when I get these calls on my cell phone.  I don't give that number out very often.

Keep getting hang-up calls from this number on my cell phone...grrr...always calls at inconvenient times...grrr...Do not call list DOES NOT WORK! Complaints DO NOT WORK! Cell phone company cannot block this number...grrr....

Just received this recording on my CELL phone, which has been active on the DNC list for several years.  For what it's worth, I'm on Straight Talk (via ATT).  In regards to someone's earlier post, I've never done business with Enterprise Rent-a-Car.

I hope these pricks pay out the nose for this.

I got a similar call today on my cell. I am not sure if they targeted a specific Cell phone carrier. my number is with T-Mobile, and I am curious to know if there are other carriers getting the same scam calls.

they called cell - I answered and no one there.  Called back and pressed 3 to be removed and it disconnected after stating not a valid extension.  I did that three times then called back and pressed one and got a live agent who was actually nice and said she would take care of removing my number from their list.

Just got a call from this number as well.  It was stating that according to driver license records they could save me money on my insurance.  I have never received a call on my cell like this before.  Only thing I could think of is I gave Enterprise Rental Car my cell yesterday and they must have gave it to them.  Kinda funny because couple hours after this call I got another unknown number that I did not answer who did not leave a message.  Pricks

I got a call earlier on my cell.  no message....called back dialed 3 to be taken off their list and machine said I dialed a wrong number and was disconnected.  I called dialed one to speak with a live person and was hung up on when asked to be removed.  I called several more times finally reached someone and I asked for her cell phone number since she had mine...got hung up on....called back and said the same to the next person and she said now maam don't you have anything better to do and I said I do obviously you don't I'd suggest not lowering yourself and get a real job...got hung up on.  Finally spoke with Reginald and he said he'd make sure my number was deleted.  Before you think I'm crazy, I'm sick of these calls!  I'm on the do not call list  Figured I'd give them a little taste of what it's like.  I HIGHLY suggest if you get a call from them, answer it and ask for their cell phone number and you'd be happy to call them.

A lot of regulation for the do not call list is essentially crowd sourced. If you are on it and continue to receive calls you can report them online and they will be fined.

It is definitely an Auto Insurance company. Have fun with them. Call them from a pay phone and ask them how they like getting unwanted calls.

I just called the number back from a different phone with caller id block and got a recording the number is not in service.

I did not answer since I did not know the phoned number.  I've called the number back at least 20 times with my phone on mute... love to hear them do their whole greeting then keep saying hello is someone there.... ahhh sweet revenge.  One time I did say something.  I asked if they were annoyed as I was when they called and bothered me.  They are now hanging up on me as soon as the call goes through.  I guess my number is now on their do not call list.

Called my cell that is on both state and national do not call lists.  Picked up.  Initially wording made it sound like it might have had to do with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation or something, but it became clear soon that it was a car insurance scam. Said to press 1 to speak to a human, so I did.  After holding, when I got a person, I told her her company -- whatever its name (it was not displayed on caller ID and was also not revealed during the call) had violated state and national do not call laws by calling me and to remove me.  She said she would.

3:17pm call on my cell, no message left.  Ruint.

Same thing. I didn't pick up because I don't know anyone with a Philly area code and they left no message. Now they keep calling.
