Take the number and save it in your phone contacts.  I have one specifically called "Telemarketing Jacka$$es."  Set this contact to go directly to voicemail.  You'll never get another call from this number.

Unfortunately, there are so many do***e bags out there, I probably have about 20 numbers under this contact name!

My boss keeps getting these exact same calls, like over and over and over again. Sometimes someone is there, sometimes its a recorded message, sometimes it's Ann from Account Services. When it was automated "good news" call, I stayed on the line to get a real person. I yelled at her and she hung up on me. I've reported them time and again to DoNotCall.gov but to no avail. Apparently nobody is investigating this. And seriously, it's from I bet 25 different phone numbers and when we try to call back, it's a disconnected number, or it's a fast busy signal or various other recorded messages. How can we make this stop? It's gotta be impossible or someone would have taken these people out already. It's beyond aggravating and it's wasting all kinds of our time.

At the height of this telephone debacle it's been said that each call center was making 27 calls a second, which is a whopping 2.4 million calls in a single day.  
The criminals behind this operation aren't going to pay attention to you asking to be removed from their list. Their calls cost them almost nothing and they make millions of them so they have no intention of ever removing someone. When you press a key to talk to them all that is accomplished is to verify that they have a working number.  These people are the lowest form of filth on this planet.
Unfortunately blowing an air horn or whistle doesn't work either. Their headset have noise dampeners plus they are expecting it. However with that said if it makes you feel better then by all means give it a shot.

Robocalls are illegal unless you have given them prior permission in writing (not worded into some small print contract from a 3rd party) and are absolutely illegal to a cell phone.  The Telephone Consumer Protection Act permits individuals who have received certain unlawful telemarketing, such as junk faxes or telemarketing calls, to sue the violator in state courts where they may be awarded up to $1500 for each violation.

This is an all out attack from these scum sucking filthy pigs! EVERYONE should be reporting them everywhere that they can. Since this is an obvious attempt at identity theft and is interstate, the FBI should be forced to get involved. Charge them with a CRIMINAL offense and throw them in prison instead of the FCC saying 'Naughty - naughty, now go out and play nice'. (Prosecute them in criminal court instead of civil penalties).

I keep getting this call and as soon as you start asking to many questions or tell them to stop calling, they always hang up on me.

Actually you're lucky only getting called twice a day.  I get these scam calls EVERY day, anywhere from 4 to 7 times, from 7 i the mornng until 10-11 at night.  I don't answer, I just hit end.  It never stops.  I cannot answer my phone anymore unless someones name that I know comes up from my contact list.  I can't block the number since you can only have so many numbers blocked.  I have well over 150 numbers in my contact list that say CCS Do Not Answer (credit card scam).  Verizon doesn't give a s***.

This number calls and never eaves a message and when I try to call it back, it's not in service, yet it calls my cell phone about daily. I would like to file a formal complaint. This is unsolicited and unwanted. When I do pick up I always request they don't call anymore, to no avail.

If you're getting these on your I-Phone/Smart phone, there are plenty of apps out there (many free) that will block calls and texts from numbers that other app users have "black listed".  I went ahead and paid for the upgraded version of the one I use (Call Blocker), it blocks not only the national community blacklist numbers, but also anything I've personally blacklisted - I had some poor old lady who kept accidentally calling my number thinking she was calling her doctor's office and she'd always leave some personal info about how her depression meds weren't working or something (yikes!).  Blacklisted her number - that was the last of that.  Anyway - get an app.  You'll be glad you did!

I just received a call from this phone number.  I answered the call and no one replied.  Then I tried calling the number back, only to hear a recorded message saying that I have reached a non-working number.  What a bunch of jerks.

i am also receiving these same calls about lowering my interest rates on my by credit cards....  i am so sick of these calls i have tried to talk to them for a minute then ask my to take me off there phone list, they just hang up on be....  i put a do not disturb on my phone....  but they use other phone numbers ....  i can get up to three calls a day...  but since i have downloaded the do not disturb i am getting less calls.   but still get them with new numbers. less often.....  wish i new what else i could do to get rid of these stupid calls....

I got the same recording when I called back.  They've called me several times lately!!!  I want to know how to get them to stop.

How many phone numbers does a LEGITIMATE business have? In the past 2 years I have blocked over 200 different numbers. All of those calls are from Rachel or Ann with Account Services. Recently another jerk has been added to the list as well. The machine calls, says I can lower my credit card interest if I "CALL NOW'. Funny, why do I need to call when they called me? Secondly, I don't have any credit cards. And as other comments say, if you do press 1 to speak to a person, they either get rude or hang up on you and call again. I have been on that "Do not call" list, I have made complaints. None of it works. I have them calling all hours day and night, it has made me more than angry with these criminals. It is time that the government listens to the people and takes steps to stop the harassment.

Ahhh, yet another number to add to my junk  phone list. Makes it easy not to answer. Then for a few days until they come up with another new number have a little peace. Surely someone is smart enough to find a way to block all these calls. Enough already. Am not interested in your calls. Yes the Cleveland number is is the new pest on the block. I've no idea who they are.  

The government did not go far enough with their Do Not Call list.  They left loopholes open for scammers to qualify as charities & political parties.  Those two are exempt from the no call list.  So we get calls from local shop with a cop donations before Christmas.  In my city the Better Busn. Bureau states that this local organization refuses to send requested information.  What does that tell ya?  Scammers!

Telemarket companies have personnel ready to go for any old outfit to call from all over the country.  I've heard that the telemarket companies can easily put any city in the ID they want to, even though they are in a different city and state.

I just follow my rules in my house.  If I do not recognize who is calling, I don't answer.  If they are legitimate, they will leave a message. However, it is exasperating to get down off a ladder to see a telemarketer in my caller ID.

If fed up people start complaining to the Govt' about telemarket companies manipulating bans on their calls (and I mean flood them with calls) maybe they will close the gaping loopholes they left open for the unscrupulous crooks. I intend to file a phone complaint asap.

My Mom is on the no call list.they call  2 to 10 times a day since December. I'm beyond pissed with them. you tell them to put us on the no call list and they hang up on you. then proceed to call 10 minutes later.......I understand why people loose it.
