ANOTHER call to my cell phone.  Seem to get them from misc. numbers and/or states.  I don't recognize the area codes or numbers, so I don't answer.  Why should I waste my time and cell minutes to talk to some friggin idiot I don't know?T3F4

I have answered and received the "hang up" also.  What's the point of calling if you aren't going to talk to the person answering the phone.  These anonymous calls come during the day, on my cell, while I am at work. This makes for an unhappy boss when my phone goes off during a meeting and it's a b.s. call like these.  He's ok if it's family cuz he knows it's important, but just the ringing is a distraction. I've put my phone on silent but I think the vibration is just as distracting.

Called @ 6pm EST on 3/19/12.  I mistakenly answered.  No one said anything.  I hung up.

I answered and the line was silent. I said "hello" several times then the call disconnected. I called back and the number disconnected after a couple of rings.

Phone Spam

Got call today from this number did not answer no message when i called it back got message that Fred's mail box is full. Have no idea who Fred is and my number is on the Do Not Call list. Of course that is a waste of time since even though cell phone numbers are now covered under the law for telemarketers govt does nothing to stop these calls.

Called Saturday morning at 10:20 CST, but did not say anything when I answered.

I thought I recently saw a piece on the news about this happening, so at least it's getting national attention.... hopefully SOMETHING can be done about it sooner than later... SO tired of this, ugghh!!!

my son is out of the country and when i get unusual phone id's i get nervous.  unable to discover who owns line.  i have seen it listed as a land line as well as a cell.  sure would like to know who the  heck it is!

I get a call about once a month but from different numbers from all across the USA. If you press '1' the person won't answer any questions and hangs up.
The call is always about credit cards.

Came up on my caller ID as "Anthony Russell." I declined the call.

She said, "Good news from accounts receivable."  I hung up.
