I just got a text from this # saying ASCENTIA F.C.U. ALERT: your CARD has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at XXX-XXX-XXXX. I don't bank with them and doubt VERY highly that my bank would deactivate my card and then text me about it at 9pm!

I just got the same exact text message. I believe it is a scam to get your card information. Do not call the number!

I believe the Duluth news tribune mentioned this scam. Just got the text. Just ignore it. I don't even bank there but get junk mail once in a while.

I'm sure it's a scam. It's way too general for something as important as a deactivated card. Not only that, but what FCU would send a text message at 11pm instead of a phone call during normal business hours?
