Here's what you do..... ask them to hang on while you go and get your card. Put the phone down and just leave it sit there. They will hang up eventually when they realize you aren't coming back AND you have wasted their time. REVENGE.... it feels so good!

I got a call from this number on 1/27/2014, they called my cell phone and only a select few know my number. No message was left, I get this type call on my land line not my cell. I have a Windows phone they recently upgraded it to allow me to block unwanted calls, this number was the first and probably not my last.
Sounds like a new Rachel scam, I got calls from them for almost two years I still do not as often.

Called my cell. Did not leave any message. Why can't we stop this criminal to waste my money and time?

281-833-8060 called me at 9 a.m. to ask if I wanted lower credit card rates even though I don't have ANY credit cards. I hung up then tried calling back later that afternoon but it rang endlessly so I googled the number. IT IS FRAUDULENT-281-833-8060.

Got a call from this number, 218-833-8060 from Brainard MN. They asked if I wanted to reduce the intrest rate on my credit card. I asked which which banking institution they were with...said Chase and CitiBank ask what credit card information do you have? Caller fumbled about and could not tell me then asked me for last 8 digits of my credit card number so he could check it and determine which card he was calling on and what interest rate he could get me. I told him to tell me my number. He got aggravated and hung up. Big time scam

Showed up as a "missed call" and I didn't recognize the number. Reverse directory searched via Google and found this site with warnings (and I'm glad - didn't waste minutes trying to call these clowns back). SCAM!

I just received a call from this phone number on my cell phone (actually called me twice in a month). I didn't answer since it was a # from Minnesota and I am from NY, I also do not know anyone from Minnesota. They left no voicemail so I decided to come on here and figure out if this was fraud, spam, or just an annoying telemarketer.
I also worked for Chase for 7 years. They will NEVER EVER call you and ask for your information. They are the bank, you needed to provide your information to them when you opened your account/credit card so there is no reason for them to ask for it again as it is already provided. Lastly, all banks will always ask you security questions (which you must answer correctly) over the phone to prove your identity before delving into any account information.

They must be hittin it hard today. They called at 10:15 this morning. I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message.

Called me this morning. I pressed one to see what they wanted. They said I had a balance of over $3,000 on one of my credit cards and could lower my interest rate. I asked which one. He said your BOA card. I told him that is incorrect. He hung up. I called back and the number has been busy all day. Be careful. I am a retired Bank branch manager. Never give personal or financial info over the phone, by e-mail or letter. Go directly to the Bank branch, or call the number on the back of your card. Financial institutions will never ask you to validate your info by the above methods.

I just got a call from these 'people' a few seconds ago. Caller ID said they were from Minnesota. I assumed it was just some idiot who got the wrong number because I don't know anyone in Minnesota. Now I see from these reports that they are spammers. As a result of their call, I've lost 3.69 on my cellphone balance, and I didn't even answer it.

I received a call from this number, didn't answer it. Based on Internet research, it seems like it was a fraudulent call "fishing" for information.

BIG TIME FRAUD ALERT!!!!
Just got a call from this number, they asked if I wanted to reduce the intrest rate on my credit card. I asked which which banking institution they were with...Silence, I ask what credit card information do you have? Caller fumbled about and could not tell me then asked me for my credit card number so he could check it and determine which card he was calling on and what interest rate he could get me. I asked his name and to speak to his Manager - He hung up.
Never EVER provide any of your personal information to anyone calling you, especially your credit card number! That is how identy theft begins! Do your research...God bless!
