I have received a call from this number several times, the voice is recored and say's it is Rachel. They make reference to credit cards, but do not identify which card, but states there is no problem. I would like this to be stopped. Since I am not, and never been behind in any payments, this is very suspicious. I am also on the no call list for Federal and State, so any advice would be appreciated

We have received probably 20 calls in the last 2 weeks from this #. Get the same message each time and have not done 9 yet. We will the next time and just answer their questions and give them a bogus credit card# if they ask. Probably trying to get card#s.

They called and wanted money. I said "Well if you want that money, come and find it, 'cause I don't know where it is ya baloney ..."

We get these calls all the time. Another number they use is 825-000-3228. We let these calls go to the machine. We are on the no call list aswell. I feel the "no call list" is a waste of time if we aren't able to stop these harrassing calls.

219-000-5567 is a supposed credit card service to get your interest rate on current cards reduced.  Initially, the message was recorded and directs you to press a number to speak with a representative.  i did that, and got a live person.  I told her I wanted my name removed from their call list, and she just hung up.  No "okay, we'll do that", no 'bite me", nothing.  I have a small notebook next to my phone where I document these calls and caller ID #. However, my research indicates to get more information on unwarranted callers, such as name of company, where tyey are located, names,... so I will do that.  I'd rather spend a few minutes now to stop these people who can't follow the rules, than to have to endure their nuisance calls forever.

The reason it has 000 is because they have part of the number blocked, but according to the phone company the number is from Gary Indiana.

Received call from 219-000-5567 about credit cards, consolidating my payments and getting a lower interest rate on 10-1-2010.  I have no balance on credit cards.  I am also on the no-call list for cell phone and home phone for federal and state listings.  Caller keeps calling - frequently. I normally do not answer numbers that I do not recognize, however, I was awaiting an important call from a medical facility out of the area.  Want these calls to stop and remove my number from their data base.

No message left.  First time I received a call from this number on 9/15/10

This number just called me on September 10, 2010 at 11:45am ET and did not leave any message. Caller is a frequent caller even though I am on the State & Federal Do Not Call Lists. Glad I have Caller ID. I never answer a non-local number if I don't recognize who it's from. That's as bad as the scammers who use the company name "Toll Free Call" and think people are dumb enough to answer the phone.

To avoid answering calls from this scumbags, program them in your telephone directory as
SCAMMER 1,2,3,4,5- This will trigger you on not answering the call. Keep on reporting this number
on both Federal & State no call list.

When I answered, a recording said - This is card member services and would I like to lower my rate.  I pressed 9 to talk to someone, I politely asked how can I stop receiving these calls and he said:
"You have to die and then we will bug your spouse"  and then he hung up.
I called my credit card company and they said it was not them.

000 number called me talking about credit card interes rates. it was pre recorded and told me to press 1 for assistance. i did so and a man came on the line. i asked who it was and they immediately hung up on me. tried calling back and it was unavailable. contacted the phone company and they said its a scam. filed a complaint with the attorney general.

Received a call this morning about the opportunity to lower interest rate to 6.9%. After pressing 9 a man with a very low deep voice asked if I was calling about the interest rate. When I asked him what card he was referring to he hung up. Same story as the rest of the posts . . . tried calling back; no answer. I have enough stress keeping my head above water from real creditors . . . don't need the fake ones!!!

It says press 9 to lower your credit bill interest rate to 6.9%, the time is about to expire.  Then a live person comes on the line.  Say's "you're interested in lowering your rate?"  I replied "Yes, but FIRST I want to know WHO is calling,  WHAT company is this?"

*CLICK*  the line went dead.  She hung up on me immediately

I was not home when I received this call and the area code is the same as where I go to college so I freaked out. They did not leave a message and has not called since. Thanks to reading these post I know its not from my school and not to answer it now. Thank you!

10/29/2010  10:44 AM Indianapolis. I let this unrecognized number go to voice mail and the never left any message. I'm on the Indiana Do Not Call list as well as the Federal Do Not Call list.

all 000 numbers are bogus and created thru the internet by use of that phone software which presents a fake number to your caller id or forces caller id to display no information as if your providers caller id software was corrupted again.

cardholders.com is the fake company - they move the number around to avoid the do-not-call list. will post anything new I find

got a call from 219-000-5567       I could  not make out what this female voice was saying.  Who has 000 phone numbers?

Call with hangup on voice mail 5/28/10 - hubby also received call from the infamous "Rachel" a couple of days ago - review of call log we get via Vonage reveals same number.

Call rcvd in Seattle area 10:27am May 26th on a multi-line system.  Immediate recorded msg.  "Pressed" 9 to reach Help.  He would only say "Card Services" and give no other info.  He disconnected after repeated questioning.  Unable to determine the number or who he was calling or his real calling number.  Entered tracking  *57.

I continue to receive phone calls from the automated system that refers to my credit cards etc etc but when I talk to a live person and ask to be removed from their calling list they get nasty and call me a "b*%ch.

leaves no info. just calls. tried to call back but it says diconnected.
