This is a repeat of a frequent recorded message that we receive from several different numbers.  Our caller ID said Lowell MA this time - location varies.  Recording says "Please listen to this important message.  This is Jennifer from ESG Research Group...."

Nothing FREE about the trip! its a scam telemarketer! the pole is to get you hooked then  you end up shelling out over $3100  up front for and alledged Trip plus airfare to thier Junky Cruise ship plus another $1500 when ya get there for boarding fees and security.

Got a call at 6:30 at night.  No message left.

Got a call and they hung up.

Same politicians who make the laws only the rest of us have to follow are at the heart of so many of these fake survey/promotional  calls.

Realize that they will never cease because of the ones who originated the concept and the other who endorse it and fill their own pockets by catering to lobbyists and similar ilk.

I got a call from 219-225-0010.  It said Lowell, IN on my caller ID.  The lady said that she three questions to ask me on the economy, congress and Obama.  If I answered them I would get a free cruise to the Bahamas.  I asnwered the questions and then pressed 1 as directed and held for a very long time and nobody came on the line.  I really didn't expect to get a cruise for this.  I just wondered what the catch was.

Answered the call, tried to do the survey - it would not allow me to submit answers that did not favor the GOP.  What a racket.  Now we know....

Also got call from this number. I didn't answer and I am also glad I didn't because they called my cell phone.

Credit company doing a survey about the debt crisis?  A free trip to Bermuda?  How do we block these obnoxious callers?  4 times in 2 hours!

Political? Not. A business designed to separate you from your money. Yes. Don't ever let these criminals anywhere near your family, your cash or your dog.

These folks are working telephone terrorists. They scour the internet for phone numbers, purchase others, strip emails for information, examine ads of all different types, send email crawlers to do their bidding, program their war dialers and end up harassing and pissing off law abiding folks. Lately, the calls have grown more frequent, as many of the comments attest to.  Just hang up or don't answer your phone if you don't recognize the number. Don't get scammed and don't give out any information.

Called today and hung up just as I answered the phone!  Disturbing!!!

Called our house today at 4:44p.m.  Working outdoors, I ran all the way inside to answer it since I was waiting for an important call.  (I have my answering machine set on 4 rings and usually solicitation phone callers hang up before the end of the 4th ring.)  
Today, they hung up just as I picked up the phone!  F...ers!  Who are these people and how does one stop them from calling???   Our number is registered with the do not call web site and besides that, I guess we're all at the mercy of these rude, telephone rapists who delight in making calls to phones they don't even pay for!  

I heard a good remedy if you get a real person on the other end...  Tell them you're really busy right now, but if they would like to leave their number, you'd be happy to return their call when you're no longer busy...I tried it once and CLICK!!!

Caller ID just said Indiana, so I ignored them.

called 2:38 pm on Dec. 29.  Added to my other PITA calls that I do not answer.  Thank goodness for caller ID and my answering machine :-)

They just called me. Did not answer.  I have gotten numerous calls from others on my home phone and cell.  I am on the DNC list for both numbers.  I have gone thru the complaint to the DNC and did not get any response.  I have sent complaints to the Attorney Generals in the states that these calls come from listing their phone numbers my respone from them was they could not find them, so reporting them is useless.  I am getting more and more calls now than ever before.

Just got a call from this numebr.  Since I don't answer calls from numbers I do not recognize, I just let the phone ring.

Political call.  Just hung up on them, but they still call every few days.

Whats up with all these friggin solicitors here lately.  Just got a call 2:20pm mst , I answered it no one on the other end of the line........just as well......they would of got a load of noise from me......gettin the damn calls about every day here lately.

You cannot make a complaint to the FCC or FTC because the calls are LEGAL!

Make a complaint to your Congressional Representative and your two Senators, or you state level legislators and tell them you want the loopholes closed.  The chances this will happen are slim to none because THEY have exempted THEMSELVES so political calls are legal too.

Go to the National Do-Not-all Registry and file a complaint. This .gov site was made for this reason in 2001 under the Bush Administration to stop this crap. Enough complaints will start a federal investigation:
