Just got the call... heavy Indian accent, call center noises in background... didn't answer me right away until I said hello the 2nd time... said he was from Microsoft... yeah right!!  I hung up on them.

Heavy Indian accent, although when asked said he was located in LA, but I doubt it. Asked for me by name (which bothers me) said that he was from Microsoft and 10,000 computers were corrupted. I have heard of this scam beforem because my husband works in computer security. They have you go to a website and then charge you to "fix" your computer and possibly get your personal information. I was going to mess with him but in stead got mad and yelled at him -- told him that this was a scam and it was horrible thing to do.

Obviously some reason to call that benefits them and annoys the hell out of me.  How do we get this to stop?  I'm going to tell my phone company to block this number.

When I asked to be removed from their call list, they pretended not to understand what I was saying then got belligerent.

This number has called all day. The one time I answered there was nobody there

For the past week this number calls my main line number. Tell me what this is all about. Getting tired of your business practices.

The guy said he was calling from tech support regarding our Windows computer. When I asked for more information, he said something like, "just tell me if you are the main owner of the Windows computer." I told him I didn't know what he was talking about and hung up.
