Oh Oh!!  I am SOOO sorry.  You were talking about yourself first, I see that now.

Because after all, you said some "other" irresponsible person.  As in, one other than yourself.

I do apologize.  But please, remember that even if you didn't pay your bills due to your irresponsibility, that doesn't mean that everyone without outstanding bills have them due to being irresponsible.  Sometimes it simply can't be helped.

You know - some people don't ask for medical bills that they can't pay, does that make them irresponsible?

Some people have their identity stolen, and some people have medical bills they don't even know about that are turned over for collections - does *that* make them irresponsible?

Or would it be *more* irresponsible to *not* take their child to the only place in the city that are forced by law to provide medical care - even if you can't pay - which is the ER, and so that child becomes ill and dies of strep.  But at least they pay their bills!!  So which is the more irresponsible?

I think people need to quit snap-judging people - just because someone has a colletion agency trying to contact them, that doesn't make them "an irresponsible person who doesn't pay their bills".

I'll just bet you're a republican.  If not - well, I guess you just don't have an excuse for being an heartless ignorant person who had no idea what it means to not have the money to pay for medical treatment, or to be forced into a situation through no fault of your own that ends up with you not being able to pay for something that someone says you owe...

Called twice today on my cell phone did not leave a message show up as HALSTED?????

Um, I'm a teenager, I have no job, no bank affiliations, and I have never contributed money to a gender reassignment. And for some reason these people keep calling me. I'm not buying it.

I too recieved a call from this number...didn't leave a message and didn't answer when i called back.

I also got a call, don't know the number and they didn't leave a message.

Some jerk by the name of Allen West with "Henry Frank" has been calling from this number (224-534-0056) harrassing me at work.  I have asked him several times to not call me at work and I hang up.  He continues to call me back threatening to report me to my HR department.  I WILL be reporting them to the BBB and I suggest everyone that receives calls from them do the same.  They are not operating under the law and they need to be stopped.

Ha, no one who had actually talked to this guy would say that. Please.

They called me from this number today, two days ago it was from another number. I looked up the last number and the comments said the same s***, Halsted, "debt collector", asking about random people and accusations. Well, anyways, block them with your mobile apps. I blocked the last one, I guess this is added to the list. The crooks stop at nothing. A***oles!

This person called a few times for a man that I didn't know.  I am in NC and the person is looking for is suppose to be in Kentucky.  He proceeded to tell me that I must know this person or it's my cousin.  I was trying to tell the man not to call me and he caught an attitude and was trying to talk over me.  No reason for me to argue with someone over something that does not concern me.  He said his name is Steven from Henry Frank Services.

This number is used by the North American Man-boy association and is soliciting
for clients and contributions. The swishy guy on the phone insisted that his father along with numerous other male relatives are soon to be released from jail and need funds to return to their preferred lifestyle.

GET CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER ASKING FOR SOMEONE THAT IS NOT AT THIS NUMBER,VERY RUDE INDIVIDUALS,SINCE ALL THEY DO IS CALL AND I KEEP SAYING HELLO AND THEY HANG UP

A guy called and insisted that I had volunteered to contribute funds to his gender reassignment. He claimed that I had done the same for his father and was adamant that I do the same for him.
I informed him that should he arrange to meet me in some secluded place, I'd perform the operation on him free of charge.
Gotta love those collection agency scams.

Extremely rude on the phone. Some law office, not a debt collector.

This number called me and when I called it back they looked up my number and said they were calling for a person that is NOT me. I have been receiving phone calls for this person for a while now so I wasn't surprised however when I told him that I was not this person he started questioning me about why I was calling from a blocked number. I sometimes use my cell phone for work and when I do I turn off the caller ID which I had done earlier that day. When I explained this to him he continued to basically accuse me of being this other person and trying to hide my identity by blocking my number. This man was FAR from "professional". When I got off the phone with him I turned my caller ID back on and called right back. Of course I got a different person but hopefully I made it very clear that I am NOT the person they are trying to reach. It is really sad when you get to the point of having to change your phone number due to some other irresponsible person who can't pay their bills.

Does anyone really believe that this post is from an actual debtor? It is obviously posted by the same scumbag bill collectors responsible for the call to begin with.

I got a call from this number too, They called me about a past due collection account. I spoke to a very nice gentlemen who agreed to remove all of my interest and actually was willing to work with me, but he wanted my checking info because i had been in default for soo long and they wouldn't offer the arrangement unless i set it up with automatic debits. That made me a little fishy. So i told them i would call them back. Now before i paid them i wanted to verify that they were a legit company. So I looked them up with the better business bureau and they're rated a B+. I didn't just stop there. I wanted to verify if they were on my credit report. They were on there as well. I then wanted to verify they were licensed in ILLINOIS, and they were! So I called them back about a week later and set up that payment plan with my checking. I must say i have dealt with a lot of bill collectors but these guys are the most professional company i have ever dealt with.

just called, left no message......when I called the number back, the person stated his name as a way of answering the phone.....no other identifing statements like type or name of business they are from...

Just called - no message left.  I'll BLOCK future calls with my phone software.  From what I see here they are just debt collectors!

Caller ID says Halsted 1-224-534-0056. Calling for someone who doesn't reside at the number they called, yet I know the person. Said it was a legal matter. I found this number is in Chicago, ILL, but what kind of so-called company is it?
