They call me like 8 times a day.  If I get one more call from these people I will be calling the Attorney General.  I don't know what their scam is either, but I have heard of one where they promise you a lower per kilowatt rate than you currently are paying with ComEd. But the fine print of the deal is that the rate is not a fixed rate.  It's an adjustable rate.  And once you are transferred over to them, the rate miraculously becomes higher than what you are already paying with ComEd.

They do not leave a message.  Add them to your blocked caller list, if available.

I answered this call.  It came in as "Positive Energy" on the caller ID.  The man asked for my husband without mention of who he was or why he was calling.  I asked who he was.  He indicated "Dexter calling on behalf of Commonwealth Edison" to which I replied that the caller ID did not indicate that.  He then hung up.

They called me and I answered a few questions. When they started to ask more personal quesions, I interrupted and asked if they where from COmEd. Her answer was no, and then I proceeded to ask for a broucher from them to check them out.  That was all it took, and she hung up on me!

Called saying they would save me miraculous amounts of money on my electric.  They wanted my account number, but didn't even know my name.

The caller ID shows them as Positive Energy (224-649-5515).
However, "Tara" told me to call back them back at 855-572-8374 and the company is called Rescom Energy.

Something just ain't right with this.  They're trying to give away something for nothing.  I'm following the old, "If seems to good to be true..." sage advise.

I'm not sure how this scam works, unless it's like what they used to do with long distance services in the 1980's and 1990's, called Slamming.  Where they get just enough information and switch you without your consent.

Even if they are legit, I didn't give them permission to call me so they ARE a SCAM!
