I am sick of people I don't know from dumb area codes calling me.  It is harassment and I want it to stop

Once again receiving calls from collectors for other people at my number.  The sad thing is this new company (Hampton Financial Services) is calling for the same unknown person another company called for EVERY SINGLE DAY, 2 and 3 times a day, 4 months ago.  So I guess it really doesn't matter if I tell the company that the party they are looking for is NOT at my number and to remove my number from whatever list they have since I'm now receiving calls once again for this unknown person from a different company.

They have called me numerous times and threatened to have me arrested. Ive called original deboter and they told me they would not have me arrested for such a small amount. They also told me they would not hire simeone to harrass me and threaten me. They also told me to report them to the authorities which i am doing! Its ridicoulous how they get away with this!!!!

Called just now for the first time. The name On the ID was HFS. No answer when I picked up, and left no message afterwards.

Dude get off your pedestal... although you need not air your laundry here, you have no reason to offer any advice. Do you feel better about yourself now? If anything ever has smelled of 'projection' this reeks.

You are a complete a**!! They are not giving a sob story!! They obviously had something happen to them that really took a toll on their lives. Who are you to judge? I am receiving these same harassing phone calls on my cell phone that was provided to me through the federal government!! They are calling my phone everyday sometimes three times asking for someone I don't even know!! So stop talking trash on people who suffered a major crisis in their lives and are now receiving the same harassing phone calls from these horrible debt collector's with no life or hearts!!! Mind your own business and stay off this page that is meant to help people not hurt them!!

yes you owe a debt to the original creditor. if they charge if off and sell it to a collection agency, you are no longer responsible for it. you made an agreement with the original creditor, not a collection agency. the creditor got their money when they sold it off. you're not responsible for the collection agencies lost money.

We just bundled our phone, internet and cable with Charter. The new number they gave us (for some lame excuse we could not keep our current # like they advertise) so we are getting calls from this number to our new number. I have explained to them that the person they are looking for no longer has this number. I am called a liar and worse!    I am going to call the Skokie police department and report them for harrassing phone calls if they do not quit.

I called & they were rude. The guy even used foul language. His name is Randy. He refuse to tell me the name of the company. I told him so stop calling my number. He hung up on me that punk.
I called back & a nice lady picked up & said the company is called "Holster Financial" or something like that. She said its a collection company.  She had a southern accent that was hard to understand. She did politely say I will remove your number. It takes up to 24 hours.

Charged off means the original lender sold your account into collections. You owe a debt, being destitute doesn't absolve you of all obligations to your credit card provider or the account you signed on for. Negotiate a good deal, don't run a sob story.

I just called them back, they answered, asked if I knew where someone was that used to work here, when I said no idea she left 2 years ago he politely said thanks I will remove this number and not call again...

These people keep calling. I now know they are a debt collecter from the post on this sight.  Thank you for that, but these people need to stop calling me. Do to unfortunate accidents my husband is disabled and this account was written of over two years ago but yet sold to another company.  These people have no heart and are rude and obviously have not had a tradgedy happen in their life and need to back off .  I had great payment records before the accident and excellent credit, a home that was five years away from being ours and lost it. I am not one to run from my debts and they can very well see that on my past credit.  I do not need the harassment and do not want a free ride, but if it was already written off and ruined my credit and devasted my pride - and written off why are they calling me?  Don't answer if you are in the same position no matter what caused it.  Written off means written off. What's up with that?  Seems like they are trying to get the best of both worlds!  Jerks!!!

Calls several time no response when I pick up but can hear back ground noise then they hang up. I just called back call answered without company name looking for someone who used to live here which leads me to belive it is a collections issue as we get those calls all day for that person.

A call from this number leaves messages for some case number, i call back and voicemail is full.

Got called by it just now, I said hello twice and after no sound whatsoever on the other end, they hung up.

I HAVE RECEIVED NUMEROUS CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER WHEN I CALL IT BACK IT SAYS THAT THE VOICE MAIL IS FULL.

Caller from APAX Financial according to caller ID.  Left message looking for S*** Adams.  Called back and told them I have no clue who that is and to remove this number.
