Caller Paul Gerber contacted our office claiming that his office was doing an investigation.  Said similar stuff as everyone here.  Do not give any info. to anyone. Just another SCAM.

So this idiot Paul Guber calls and makes like he has been chasing a deadbeat debt from us (we owe no money to collector by the way) and he claims he is "coming to our office in the morning to start his investagation and fax his report to his client.

He said he represents Mr. McInttre or CNA, Inc. 888-813-9429 ext 229

Do not fall for it. They are running a SCAM

This Bozo (a.k.a. Paul Gerber) called and left a message on my office voice mail with a smooth, threatening tone (see above comments for details on his standard introduction). It was undeniably a case of mistaken identity, confusing my company with another that has a similar name. I called his number and left a message pointing out the error. Also called Bozo?s client, Mr. MacIntyre, (sound familiar) of CCNA, Inc. and explained the situation to them. Mr. Mc's number is 888-813-9429.

The clown show has ended, they were wrong. The big rub is I never got an apology or admission of error. I'm sure they are too busy throwing cream pies in each other's faces and rinsing them off with seltzer water.

same just happened here..but listed an old company name. Paul Gerber claiming to be a licensed PI.  Asset and liability search with a 7 year old address that doesn't exist. Client is "Mr. Macyintir" with CCNA Inc.  Assigned case # and other bologna.  Very strange

Same deal as Joe above.  Long message from Paul Gerber claiming to be a licensed PI.  Said he was working for Keith West (he gave no company name) who's phone number is 800-509-6060 at CCNA.  CCNA is Coface Collections North America, a collection agency, according to a search of their number and subsequent call.  They give New Haven, CT as an address.  This guy gave the name of Keith West at CCNA.  Never heard of them and we don't owe anyone any money so I'm pretty sure its a scam of some kind.  He kept saying their "investigation" will be done by Tuesday and he will fax it to the client.  Joe is right, a real PI would never call to let someone know he was investigating them for a client.  That's just stupid.  This 225 number is Baton Rouge, LA, btw.

I recieved a call from the Coface people and then recieved another call from someone named Paul Gerber. Neither would return phone call he call from 225-206-7935 first off Private investigators dont call to tell you what they are doing you will find out after its already finished second if you have recieved nothing in writing from someone they claim you owe then it is not real anyway. People you owe has to give you the chance to make it right before collections are involved. ALL I SAY IS SCAM!!!!
