I believe I'm a victim of a spoof caller. This person is crazy. This has been going on for nearly a week. I have received over 100 calls from this person. Some are back to back. I'm about to go crazy. We can't sleep and I can't get anything done for answering the phone only to have to walk away from it until they hang up. Then they call again and both of my lines are busy. I have called the police and filed a report. Twice. I have called my phone provider. We would be required to pay a fee for call blocking. I had recently just gotten the bill down. This isn't fair that I should have to pay when someone who is committing a crime, suffers nothing. We have elderly parents to care for. We've done nothing wrong. We don't know this person (or think we don't) and just want this to stop. I think they have been using other numbers too, but this one is the most frequently used. I don't really understand spoofing, other than it should be illegal. I'm not really sure if that's what's going on, but since reverse searches are coming up with bogus information, don't know what else to think. We need help. The provider for the caller shows up as one provider for one search and something else on a different engine. Your drop down menu doesn't offer harassment or repeated unwanted calls. Didn't know whether to choose prank calls or unknown. The providers listed were Att new cingular, T-mobile, Bellsouth mobility LLS GA. I really would like to know who this is and the seriousness of the situation explained to them and if they continue to abuse the privilege of having a phone, be banned from having access.
