I have been receiving calls from this number for weeks now.  I called and left a message to find out "why" they are calling only to receive double the amount of calls each day.  They are clogging up my message machine with NOT leaving messages, so I turned off my recorder and ringer on the land-line.  I called AT&T and they said I had to pay $8 each month to be able to block numbers.  I don't have block apparently and I didn't add that on.  Just want the calls to stop.

This number has been in my caller ID every day or every other day.

have gotten this call many times before...since i don't recognize the number i never answer...they usually hang up after 4 rings so it's most likely a robocall fishing for donations

Got a call from them saying they're from Entergy and I have an hour to pay my late bill. Knew it was a scam because my bills are current.

It's a telemarketer calling "on behalf of" some police group, and I think I've had telemarketer callsvrepresenting the trooper association, too, but not lately.

This is not the LA  State Troopers.  They don't solicit this way.  Have a relative who is a Trooper, he says it is a scam.

They are collecting for police officers for the state of Louisiana. Claim it benefits all departments in the state. Not exactly sure of it is legit as I don't think the police do this type if solicitation.

It makes no difference whether you are on Do Not Call lists or not.
Spammers have no fear of being reported because the government will not bother with them.
If Obama doesn't care about the Constitution do you really believe he cares about you getting spam phone calls???

I received a call from this number a few minutes ago. Caller ID shows : BATON ROUGE, LA. When I answered, a recording (woman's voice) came on telling me to "Please hold" while my call was being connected. Then, another recording (man's voice) telling me that this call is in reference to TWI giving me an 877 number to call (too fast for me to get the whole number). I did not call number the calling number back. I did get on the computer to find out who this is, with no success. I have no idea who this is or why they called my number.

the call came in 1-15-14 @6:35p.m.

I received a call from this # and told him, I could not give at this time. He said "I bet" then hung up.
I called the state police and the said that they do not do that. If they do donations they do it by mail.

I have them on the do not call list, why does they continue to call ??

Yep, LA state police soliciting for donations...  asked for my husband by name and when i said he was at work, he said maybe you can help and started his spiel.  

The phone rings several times, then disconnects. The U.S. " do not call list" must not be working.

When I answered they said it was Baton Rouge Police taking donations. I hung up

Yep !  It's the 'ole 'Louisiana State Police Association' looking for those handouts again year after year..  These guys take your 'donation' and only give maybe 10% to the actual police association and keep the rest for themselves.  As bad as Kim Kardashian selling her clothes under the guise of receipt donations to a charitable cause when she only give the charity 10 % of her receipts.  Tell these guys to  go fly a kite and remove your number which they should NOT be calling anyway because you're on the National Do Not Disturb list anyway.  Right ?

They said I won $1.5M & need me to pay $999.99 to claim my check.

No message is left.  I have received calls from this number on Oct. 25, Nov. 1, Nov. 14, Nov. 15 and Nov. 18.  I want these calls to stop.

On Jan. 5 12 at  5:09 from 225-366-0237,  Jan.10,2012, 225-448-1584,  Jan. 14, 2012, - 225-366-0237, been other time but ease them from   my cell phone, This cell Phone is reg, on do not call list. if they don't stop I will call and report this. I will not answer these phone call, if I don't know the phone No.

looking for donations

Received this call on my home phone (area code 318) with a recorded message that system was trying to reconnect with caller - Heard phone ringing then a recorded operator's voice said "to make a call ..." - I hung up my phone.

Yep same here. They call four times a week, dont say anything, hang up, and when I call back its a magic jack number and the mail box is full. Its some kind of phone spam.

Third time in a week.   I don't answer, they don't leave a message.  I think that it is the La. Police Assoc. soliciting funds.  With only ss, I don't have money to give...

Someone left a message..  they just yawned.  Annoying!!!

Said they were returning my call and something about donations for police.

I keep getting calls from this number!!! When I call back it said it's a Magic Jack number and the mailbox is full!!!! This number call my house everyday!!
