I just received a call from this # & I am in Dallas Texas but the lady did not even announce who she was or why she was calling but just friendly asked for someone that was not even in my residence (as if she was someone's friend..Ha!). When I Googled the #..Crescent Bank & Trust & Katie Jessop shows up. I have never had a loan with this bank and is not in default for any loans. Wow! I hope this does not end up of being a nuisance. For the calling ID# the number was shown instead of a name.

Just got a call from Crescent bank telling me that a woman I've never met put me down as a reference.

This is ALLEGED to be Crescent Bank.  I had a car loan with them.  I bought GAP insurance as well.  The car was a total loss in a MVA.  State Farm paid them and the GAP insurance paid the rest.  And then they STILL continued to call.  First, it was "$17.00" that I owed.  Then, the amount "conveniently" changed to "$94.00".  I told these people, point blank, as is my right under the Fair Debt Collection Policy, to send me a written statement of the account to justify their demands for more money.  To date, I have yet to receive the requested written statement, although I continue to get the calls.  Further, I check with the dealership where I bought the car from and they confirmed what I thought- the GAP insurance WAS indeed to pay off the loan whatever State Farm didn't.  Therefore, I owe them NOTHING.  This sounds like a SCAM to me!!

I just received a call from this number, they didn't leave a message. I typed the number into google attempting to figure out who it was because I do not know anyone from LA, and I found this forum.  I am now a little concerned as to what this phone call was in regards to and what they hoped to accomplish in contacting me. I do not look forward to having the frequent phone calls that seem to be in my future from this number.

A woman from this number, called me, asking if I was who I am. She said she wanted to get a message to one of my neighbors. I told her I have nothing to do with any institution called Crescent Bank. She excused herself and hung up.
What my neighbors do, is none of my business. I do not wish to be drawn into their affairs.

We have gotten a message from this number for years!!  The caller id says CRESCENT BANK.  The woman says whe is looking for Karen Young, who is a reference for Dana Ward.   We have called over and over telling them they have the wrong number.  Absolutely nothing changes.  I even wonder if it is a recording since her tone and wording is the same every time -- for years!!!

Someone didn;t pay their loan and gave these people my number without me even knowing anything about this. They keep calling me and harassing me because of it.

I'm having the same problem with this number. They call me at all times of the day...like now they are calling me over 76 dollars. Telling me I know someone that I don't. Leaving threatening messages that don't apply to me.

This "bank" is calling my 10 yo. I called to have them remove her number and explained she was 10 and didnt need a car loan. They refused! The lady was very short with me and when I said I would report them to the BBB, she said go ahead...Have a nice day!

I have had the same problem!! This bank has my number on some account and they keep calling and asking for a person that hasn't been around for 10 years! It's really frustrating to think that this bank gives out money without checking any references until the person defaults on the payments! Seems stupid!
