got a call this afternoon he said he was my oldest grandson and said he broke his nose i told him my oldest grandson was right next to me and after that he hung up

called me this morning, said he sounded funny because his nose was broken in an auto accident in Costa Rica. Same story line, drunk friend at wedding, car wreck, in jail, etc. I asked him for more infomation and how I could call him back, that I would send the FBI to look for him. He cussed at me and hung up

Caller said he was my grandson Chris, that he was "in a bit of a situation" due to a wedding fight and that he was in jail.  I didn't think he sounded like my grandson, asked him what his mother's name was and he ignored me, but he eventually hung up. He did know my grandson's first and last name.

He said he was my grandson and was in jail asked for $2800. He knew details about me.  I really hope no one falls for this scam.j.b.

Caller identified himself as my oldest grandson.    When I asked for his middle name to further identify himself, he hung up.
