Got same call today How do we prevent people calling us?

I just got the same call.   After asking him 3 times to repeat what company he was calling for (couldn't make it out through the accent), I finally heard Microsoft.   Ran him in circles for a few minutes and then told him I'm so glad Microsoft has so much time and money to have someone call on these issues and that I was sure it would all be on the official website that I promised to check on before I hung up.  Of course, no one from Microsoft would admit to that many errors in their system to begin with, but that is a different story.  I was really tempted to drag him on and start making up stuff, but I didn't have the time.

Just got the same call.

Call from an indian who claimed my computer was sending error messages when using google, you tube and internet explorer. I said really, "Oh yes, could you please turn on your computer?" I said sure and left him hanging for 20 minutes. Of course he hung up.....    and of course I did not turn anything on. What the f_ck will they think of next....

Spoofed caller ID does not get answered here. Sod off, you w**kers!

Just got a call from the same number he even new our adress this is getting realy weird police needs to be involved

These people couldn't even pronounce our name, but insisted that we had 'problems' with our computers and needed their help. They were probably hoping we would let them access our computer and gain confidential data.  

Told me something was wrong with my computer.  Kept them on the phone for about 4-minutes explaining to me the issue.  Ask me if I was in front of my computer.  Told them "no" and he said to go to my computer.  Told him a little white lie "I don't have a computer."  He hung up on me.

Message about a problem with my home pc. I played along a little but it just wasn't worth it so i hung up on them. they called back.

Same people called me and my husband and I told the lady she was full of********* and she gave the phone to the guy and gave me the name Paul W
walker ID#1250 with PC Speedy and I ask well how did u get my # cause it's not published and I just got my phone he said they have there ways and that they would only  charge me 195.00 and to give him my credit card #  needless to say I told them to f***off and hung up.

Has to be a scam! Just got a call from the same guy with a heavy Indian accent. He told me that he is calling in regards to my Windows 7 computer ( don't own one ha ha) I told him to take me of his list and he responded in a very calm way "Get lost Mother F....) I hang up the phone and dialed his number and received a recorded message "This is a non working number" Would be interesting to know how they can mask the calls.

Got 2calls from this number saying they were with Microsoft. They wanted on our computers to "fix " problems.

Heavy accented Indian man called telling me there was problems with my computer and when I told him I know computers very well he kept insisting I needed to be at my computer. So I told him to take me off his calling list.  He told me he would not and that I shouldn't be rude.  I told him by law he had to take me off and he said he was going to law school and I was the. Moron who needed to study law. I ask to speak to his supervisor and he refused and then hung up on me.   TOTAL SCAM

Received call from man with a heavy accent telling me there was a problem with my computer over the past few months. When I told him not to call here again, he became angry and told me I was a "bad mommy".

Said it was Susan from PC Health they are the it department that checks on computers running windows for security issues.

REALLY? Poor speech, heavy accent and made no sense at all.

Thick accent India maybe called for error on computer but have Linux once he got that I use Linux not Microsoft he hung up
So obviously a sceamer and scammer for Microsoft

We got a call from this number "Jenny" said that there was something wrong with my computer. I asked "To whom are you looking for?" She said the owner of the phone number. So, I gave it to my brother the computer wiz. She said they had been through our files and such and found things on his computer that weren't safe. We asked which computer because we have three. The amount of times she stopped talking he kept saying "Hello?" she kept repeating her name, company and that there were things on our computer. Eventually after she stopped answering for the filth time and my brother saying "Jenny are you there? Don't leave me Jenny!" we finally hung up. Very strong Indian ancient. Good for a laugh though.

For me, it was pcspeedy.  It's a scam.   Last week he was "Microsoft", this week he is "PCSpeedy.com". Same guy, thick accent, both times.

Second call received from a guy with an Indian accent. Called Norton to ask if they would ever initiate a call regarding a computer problem and they said absolutely not! This is a scam. They wanted bank account info from my husband in order to 'fix' the problem. Why would I give this guy access to my computer and bank account information! I tried to call the number back to get the name but call would not go through.

sorry tge call was not from comcast, i that it meant what company i used. But the call from eletrical problem in the computer.

I recieved a call from this number just now, saying something about my computer etc. and when i said " O FORGET U I KNOW THIS IS A PRANK, GO SEE IF UR GRANDMA BELIEVES U, n when i said that they hung up right away........

Scam.  'Mike' from 'PC Reserve' calling about viruses on my computer.  Funny how they know I have viruses, but don't know I'm not running Windows.  Heavy Indian accent, second call I've received today (from different numbers).  Do NOT give these guys any info or access to your computer!

Just received a call from "Paul Walker, ID #1250 regarding a problem with my computer.  Said something had gotten into it that needed to be cleaned out.  Offered to help me go through the "fix".  Said we were using windows software and they were monitoring it.  Sounded off to me.  Told him I would give info to my computer guy.  Didn't trust him.  Ended call.

call about AT&T and Microsoft Windows.... my wife came to ask if I knew what it was about and they hung up before I could get on the phone.

Nobody on the other end. Caller ID Unavailable.
