India native, difficult to understand.

India native for sure. Explained that my company won some kind of drawing and wanted to reward anyone between the ages of 25 and 50 with some amazing prize.

Received 2 calls at the same time on 2 of our business lines, while I had 3 lines at once rining.  One of the calls showed up as ED DEC GO4 and the other Out of Area, though both calls were from the same phone number.  
There was a recording that stated, please hold while we transfer your call.  The message continue to state all reps are busy, please contiue holding for the next available rep.  I finally hung up.  I had hoped to have the opportunity to tell these people, whomever they may be, to not call us again.

About a month or so ago, we had received 2 calls at the same time on 2 different lines from a person wanting to buy puppies.  We don't sell puppies and have nothing to do with a puppy business.

I am pretty certain these people that call, especially with the strange name coming up on Caller Id are using what is called a phone "Spoof" card, which can easily be purchased on e-bay and many other websites.  Many bill collectors are using these so called spoof cards to trick people into thinking the police are calling them, from what I have been reading on a few other numbers I have Googled.

Have received calls from this number several times today, listed on my caller ID as Ed Dec G04. No messages were left on my answering service, and since all calls are screened, these were not answered, so have no idea who was calling or why, but believe it to be some type of scam.

Same deal. I've told them numerous times we're on the "no call list" and to take me off their list but they still call. 4 times in 2 days. Now i just pick up the receiver and hang it up.

liberia. i called this number back and  after a ring the calldisconnects. google search led me to this site

called with the we "just need to update our database", to send you a free scratch ticket that will give you money or a ford explorer scam

Calls and says they want to give me a free credit card if I agree to do a 20 minute survey with them. Now they won't stop calling

Disconnected as soon as I answered. (I always answer with my company name.)

When I get a call like this on my BB, I save the number (company name Junk Call Telemarketer) and assign a special ring tone - 'mute'. After that they can call all they want & I will never know. Sweet.

they said i was to win a explorer or some other prizes, thew were sending out a scratch ticket to be here on december 8th at 11am. what they are sending i dont know. No one gives away anything!

Same thing as everyone else. Now today when I called back they had a voice mail that said you have reached continuing education. Press one to be added to our do not call list.
I DID  THAT!! Let's see what happens.
