This number along with others "from his company" have called and harassed me for two days now. I have blocked both numbers. At first he wanted to talk to me because I had a pretty voice and sounded smart. I said thank you, but no thank you, have a good day. Then started getting calls every 15-30 minutes while at work of him telling me he was with the IRS and he just wanted to make sure I got a package. I blocked his number finally and his "managers" number that shows up from Jamaica, which they said is just a roaming number. Do not talk to this guy. He is a complete scammer and I don't even know what he is after.

This number to me I had life insurance coming from mother in law who only passed away 2 days ago total scammer. Said she was government and I know everything that goes on there. Since when does government sell life insurance. I live in Canada. Could not understand her bad accent

Called at 3:30 am Hawaiian time.

Got calls from this number 6 times in the last month. No one ever leaves a message or says anything .I wish the would  Stop.

Getting random phone calls from this number.

Said his name is John in India. He said he randomly picked my name from the 'white pages'. He did know my first name but not my surname. He wants to meet and speak with Americans because he 'likes the people and culture'. I expressed curiosity that he would just randomly call Americans for conversation. He has MagicJack but I do not. I have no idea how this person came to call me. I told him it's better for him to find girls in India than waste time calling unknown Americans and hung up. He called back 3 times but I didn't answer.

I do exactly the same thing...there is no reason anyone should have to put up with these idiots...people...use your built in Phone Blockers if you have them...

Threatening messages

This person calls constantly and late at night. I answered it for the first time tonight and it was a male voice that sounded "broken up."  I'm tired of this jack wagon.

Just received a phone call from (239)257-4961 just minutes ago, its now in Hawaii 12:49 am. I looked at the number and didn't answer because I didn't recognize it. This is the first time that this number has ever called my cell number. Don't care if its Magic jack, Kids pretending that they work for Taco Bell, I ain't answering your call. I now will block this number.

Unknown 239 257 4961. They call twice. I ignore it. Never pick up for NO ID #S OR UNKNOWN. Periodo!!!

My daughter is in the Air Force and is stationed in Japan. Whenever she calls us it shows this number on the caller ID.

UGH I work from home and get calls sent to my personal number, so this is annoying. The person on the other line did ask how much it would cost to go from point a to point b. but I cannot call them back as I decided to get rid of my U.S.A texting and calling.... I now know though to not pick up when they call again.

1-239-257-4961 called me at  11:11pm asked for me by name and when i asked who she was she hung up. when i googled it said it was a magic jack number, so i called back and a man was on the voice message  

Stop calling my phone

If I get more than 2 calls form a number I use the "Call Block: feature on my Panasonic phone. Best thing I ever did. Not only numbers can be blocked but "Unknown Caller" ID can also be blocked!

So when I see a new number called without leaving message I check on internet first to see what others are saying. Depending on find I then get ready to see if call comes in again.

I'd recommend to all to get a phone that has a Call Block feature. It will reduce the numbers of calls and any  that still call just get rejected.

He told me his name was David and he was with a CPA firm and that I owed money to someone but I DON'T OWE ANY MONEY TO ANYONE!!!! glad to know it was a scam...

Prank caller. I heard a group of young girls laughing in the background.

It's an obvious prank call, you can even hear people laughing in the background.

I have a Magic Jack unit and when i call on it , it shows my number. Magic Jack  ( the company ) does not make any calls to anyone. If you are getting a call from this number it is some one who has Magic Jack for their phone provider.  And everyone DO NOT use the do not call reg. Companys can log into it and get all the phone numbers they need. If they are calling your cell then get a hold of your cell company and see if they can block a number for you. I have Verizon and they  will block up to 5 numbers for you.Best of all just don't answer it if you don't know the number, and if they are calling at night, turn your ringer off at night, then you can look it up here online to see who it is. HAGD  all .

I can't believe the number of reports on this phone number. Some moth******er with this number was trying to scam me from a craigslist ad I had. The guy said his name was "Mike" but I got no last name. He has a thick and fairly difficult to understand Indian type accent and he always seemed to be in some loud room when he called (lots of background noise almost like machinery). I was contacted more from (a possible accomplice? Or just the same person using a different phone) named "Rose" but that was all through text messaging (so I have no voice reference) from this number: 213-375-8351. I was sent a check that was flagged as suspicious by my bank and then noted that the account the check was supposedly from could not be located. The check was mailed from a Keith Pastorella in Gausti, CA, but my best lead is the Western Union information I was given for which I was supposed to wire the shipping fee to (supposedly the shipper coming to pick up the things I was selling). The money was to be wired through Western Union to JAMES W FOTIS JR in Alpine, CA. With a simple Google search I found this exact name to a person in that same city and, through a small Twitter feed under this name, there is some pretty f****d up s***. I'm going to find this person/these people and personally rip their f****ng guts out with my bare hands.

This guy keeps calling me threatening me and my family. He identified himself as Michael Victor Nappa.

I google all unknown numbers and came upon this site. I picked up after the third time calling; turns out it was my son using a magic jack application he downloaded on his phone (his phone service is cut off but he has wifi).
