Scam. We get these all the time. It's also funny that they use gmail accounts. Any legit SEO company would use an email that utilizes their own domain name. Yahoo, hotmail, gmail, AOL, etc, all give away free email accounts because every time you send an email you then advertise for them. I've actually responded to a few of these bozos acting as if I was interested in learning more. The email always bounces back because the address I respond to doesn't exist. Which makes me wonder how doing this is beneficial at all. There's no link or anything that you could click on. Makes no sense.

Bottom line, mark it as spam or just delete it. Certainly don't call the number (maybe that's the scam?). And if you actually get one with links (we never do), DON'T click them!

Definitely a spammer.
Told use we were not in Open Directory, (we are). The email they sent to was designed to catch web scrapers. They said it was from viewing a PPC ad, which we don't run. And it came from a gmail address, web online <web.online001@gmail.com>

I agree, these are just thieves trying to rip off unsuspecting business owners. NEVER answer an email you did not request. I have already received 3 of these supposedly 1 time emails.

We just got the same email as well from these scammers. The funny thing is that we stopped PPC advertising 2 weeks ago!!!
I agree, if they have so many SEOs and can do such great things, why do they need to spam our contact forms. Maybe I should have them do THAT for us!???
