The number came across my caller id as "Client Services 636-947-2321".  I've received a number of calls (number is unlisted) from them over the passed two weeks but tonight they left a message.  Woman left her name, number (877-288-0504 with extension) and then said to "please call with any useful information regarding Barbara..........".  I laughed out loud ---- the name was my ex-husband's wife.  We've been divorced 20 years and I have not seen or heard from him.  I looked him and her up online and sure enough I'm on the list as a "possible relative" ... better yet so is my current husband.  If the number isn't in our phone address book, we let it go to the answering machine.   So call all you want you [bleeping bleeps]  I-NEVER-ANSWER!

This # called MY home asking for my Daughter's # she hasn't lived here for 15 years!!! Asked me to give her a message to call 877-288-0504....very rude woman! I basically told her to kiss my a$$, was NOT going to give her any # !!! She kept interrputing me telling me it was recorded, I yelled for her to STOP harassing me and my daughter for whatever reason! I They need to LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!

Fyi harrassment is harrassment no matter if its a debt collector or not you live in the same world as all of us do calling people place of employment aint going tobget ou money its going to cause lost of their job in which takes food and housing away from them and their children!!! So why dont they come out of their cubical and expierence life and realize what they are truily doin

This number has called my parent's home and cell phones to get my information. There is no reason that anyone who needs me should have access to my parent's information. This is harassment and I don't understand how it is legal to obtain my information this way.

Michael called from 877-288-0504 ext 54599 asking for contact information for my ex-husband who I divorced over 25 years ago.  I told him if he found him, he owes me money too!!!!

That is pretty close minded to think anyone could have had a real worthy excuse for getting behind on debt.  Think of what would happen if you had medical problems that made it so you can't work!  I guess in your perfect little world these things never happen?!

Called me looking for my daughter's phone number.

I'm getting near daily calls from (800) 521-3236, most are just hang-ups, but this morning they left a message with (877) 288-0504 as the callback number.  They are looking for someone I've never heard of, and I'd really like to call and get the calls to stop, but I'm reluctant to engage them at this point. I've also gotten a few calls from (202) 417-2021 looking for the same person.

I received a message from a company called Client services asking about my daughters location. They had already called my daughters Great Aunt, husband, 16 year old daughter and my daughter. It is beyond harassment.

The SAME guy - Carlo Marconi - just called me asking for my Dad and said that he had personal business matter that he wrote to my dad about. I insisted that he told me what this was in regard to and he insisted that he couldn't tell me due to the personal privacy act. He asked me to verify the address and and my relation to the person of interest - I told him that I didn't see how that was relevant if he couldn't tell me what he was calling about. He got mad, and told me to pass along the message and hung up. He was very rude.

Please help me in stopping calls coming into my home from 877 288-0504.

I got a call from this Bill Collector wanting to know where my son's estranged wife could be located. I ask where she got my number and she replied, I got it from one of your family members. I think this lady that calls herself Norma at 877-288-0504 ext-54618. I think she has been taking lessons from Obama or from one of the Muslim
schools. I do not like receiving calls from this low class industries. I do pay my bills.

I had some guy from Client Services by the name of Eric Shermer (sp?) call and ask for my boss.  I told him that he was here and asked if  I could help with anything.  He said, "Do you happen to have a phone number to where I can get a hold of him?" I said, "No, I'm not at liberty to give out his personal information without his permission. I can take a message for him."  He said, "This is Client Services at 877-288-0504."  "And what is your name again, please?"  "Eric Shermer(sp?)."  "And what case number or account number is this for?" "I'm not at liberty to say without Mr. Rash's permission."

Craig Grey from this company called my ex and asked for my number. I don't want my ex knowing my personal business that's why he is my ex. Who will you call next?
My priest, garbage man, the grocery store clerk. Stop the harassment. I would like to know what states this sort of practice is legal in. Seems to me it should be illegal in all fifty.

Received a call here at my home several times for my son-in-law, he does not even live here.  Asked what it was about they stated finances.  It's funny that my daughter and husband do not even have creidt cards, they live in rent and own the cars they drive.  They do not have any financial dept.  Told the person (Megan) to stop calling my home.  This place is extemely rude and are no double out to scam someone

Go to this URL above to read about these ripoff artists and how they are working.  Corey Jordan is mentioned on it.  Beware...they ARE going after you, or info on your relatives or your neighbors.....and can get your cell phone #'s just by looking for any linked accounts through your public utility bills and so on.  In the case described on this link, above, they are going through OLD OLD accounts that might have been paid in full years ago...for all I know, they're finding even a late payment or two & then going after the amt owed AFTER the late payment fees, etc.....then, they are harassing people into paying for it TO THEM all over again with intimidation, lies, phoney stories.  Evidently it must work b/c they are still at it....I'm also betting that they have many business  name changes and an arsenal of employee names that could be "interchangeable."   I'm also betting that SOME people send them money out of fear---even if they don't owe it---thinking that it will make them stop........They should be filed against/on in the state from which the calls are coming.  The ones coming to our house are from Missouri...but they could be from several different states at any given time.

This is a bill collector trying to track down a friend of mine.  I did not return their call.

Client Services Inc. This a collection agency for Citibank card services and also Sears. They look up all your relatives with the same last name. So if your family phone land line and cells are listed they will contact them. Once they ask for the family member if you say you know them they will not only continue to call them and you also. If they call just say I do not know this person and remove my nmumber from the call list. Do not give them your name. If they continue to call you you will need to speak to a representative. At that point give them your number but not your name or address and tell them to remove the number from the call list. Tell them not to violate your private number again. Good Luck

a woman called my cell number yesterday looking for a female with my name only middle initial was different. told her she had the wrong # and apologized and we hung up. my daughter got a call from a man the next day looking for me. she refused to give info and called me. I googled the # and found this site.
I called the man that called my daughter saying that I got a call yesterday and my daughter again today.
apparently, they are looking for people w/a 'financial' matter. I told him I hope this would put an end to it that I do not want any more family members being called. he actually wanted me to give him my family phone numbers. I told him "why don't you give me the numbers that are linked to my phone #". he gave me a list of about 12 people's last 4 digits of my number and wanted to know if any of the numbers matched my family. I told him I'd check and call him if they do. Boy lots of better ways to make a living than harassing innocent people all day!

You can press charges if they do not follow the law. Guess what, some of these unpaid  debts HAVE been paid. Debts are sold from company to company and individuals may be threatened if thwy don't pay over the phone. They pay only to have calls continue from some new company. People have paid the same debt several times. There are laws that protect peole from protection from unscrupulous debt collectors.

There are legal ways to call a relative or place of employment in every State..."Not that Client Services is the Best place to work" *But they do abide by the laws*...And believe me when i say a Collector knows just as well as anyone in the United States that right now it's HARD times, (Financially)...I mean Hello do you really think they just want to REALLY SIT THERE & CALL PEOPLE ALL DAY?...And get cussed out, hung up on! The one thing i know about Client Services Inc. is that if your actually willing to listen and pay off your debts they will work with you!!  However  unfortunately because of the STATE LAWS: THEY ARE REQUIRED TO GO THROUGH VERIFICATION so that  they don't DISCLOSE any INFO to the wrong person! and its not HARASSMENT to call someones phone. All you have to do is answer LET them know your situation and try and work something out!(even if its small payments til You and the Rest of the WORLD gets BACK ON THERE FEET!)  Oh and it will Help out the Economy "I mean your paying money back into the economy" Don't get me wrong i agree with you on how the economy was brought down!..(but there not going to fix it!)  P.S. Sunshine, aside from being really ignorant (I'm an attorney), you are mean-spirited.  First:  WE HAVE LAWS IN THIS COUNTRY--that's what makes us so great.  The fact that somebody owes you money doesn't mean you can take whatever steps you want to collect it.  In the great majority of cases one can sue or get fines ($1,000 is standard) levied for even one call to a neighbor, work colleague or boss. Of course, there ARE legal ways to get money owed to you, and, sometimes, to recover the costs involved in that.
Second--I have very rarely met anyone who set out to incur debts and not pay them.  I really hope you do not suffer the trauma of job loss (sometimes very sudden), or devastating illness not covered by insurance--these can wreak havoc with even the most responsible people.  You clearly aren't aware of how painful it is when people want to meet their obligations, but simply can't--they are counting their pennies so they can put dinner on the table for their children, and are in enough pain and anguish without being harassed by collectors who are exploiting a terrible situation.
Third--I'm no economist, but your economic views are completely backwards: a bad economy make it more likely that people will be unable to meet their obligations.  When our economy was good (until about 2007-8), we didn't have much of a debt collection problem  It has exploded after Wall Streeters with thei rmortgage fraud and two-faced hedge fund positions  brought down the economy.  Where have you been for the past five years?  And maybe stop using "low-information" Rush Limbaugh, and his friends as your source of information
