I still am getting calls from who ever this is on a daily basis, from several different numbers.  I am tired of it.  I just called this number (240) 232?665?1 and all it does is ring and ring and ring.  no one picks it up.  i am trying to tell these people what they can do with the constant phone calls but of course they don't answer.  someone needs to stop these people.

My assessment of Doodlebug's message is that there is simply not an easy way to block these calls, if you have a landline.  I'm assuming I'm paying Verizon for the "simultaneous ring" service, some stipend each month.  In addition, I'm paying for the cell phone.  And, if the call appears legit, it seems one must jump through hoops to record it, to block it, in the future.  Until I start getting calls that disrupt my sleep (which I know is happening to some folks), I'll stick to my policy of NEVER answering calls from numbers I don't recognize.  I have a hobby, of sorts, of documenting every call and checking this blog for information.  My first documented call, from this number, was received 5/20/14 at 8:02PM with a CID of Out of Area.

Keeps calling my number.

I get calls from this number every day, sometimes more than once a day and they NEVER leave a message. It just comes up as Glen Dale, MD and the number.   I have a unpublished/[private number that I pay for every month and I still get these calls. I was told that even if you are on the National Do Not Call registry, calls can get through if they are government or something like that.  I was also told that some companies that you pay monthly bills to (phone, electric, cable, etc...) actually sell people's numbers to these people so that they can call you continuously and get away with it.  I am able to block some numbers through the phone company but they only allow 12 numbers and that was filled up a long time ago.  If I don't know the number I don't answer.  You would think that since I have not answered their calls in the months that they have been calling, they would stop....but they don't.  The Do Not Call Registry is useless.  Doesn't matter how many times you update your number in the system through out the year, they call anyway.  Would be nice if one of these sites like this, would be able to do something about these people calling.  Enough is enough!!!!

Got a call from this number. Not anyone I know.  Ignored the call.

Called number back, gives no company name or affiliation, and if you want to be on their do not call list, you have to leave a message with your name, phone number, and zip code. I think that's a little odd???
