This caller called for the first time today.

I've been ignoring the calls, as I do with numbers I don't recognize.  I've gotten a couple of calls from various numbers that don't leave messages and it's all been within the last two days.  I'm also a verizon user, so I wonder if they've hacked the system...
The numbers I've received calls from are:
860-859-9285 (Norwich CT, Palmer Residence)
352-399-1899 (Wildwood FL, cell phone)
772-283-3482 (Palm City FL, Hellebrandt Residence)
240-305-2087 (Westchester MD, cell phone)
256-554-2267 (Florence AL, cell phone)

I don't know anyone in these states and those two names unknown.  I think it's a scam of some sort....odd

Hello again, I received calls from that number in Maryland 3 times yesterday, and have received calls from 708-724-7896 twice so far today, the first one being at a little after 7 this morning.. Also something someone else mentioned who's been receiving calls from these numbers, I am also a Verizon customer and am also curious to know how many others getting calls from these numbers are as well?

I don't know but maybe there is a connection between all of us..I used to have Alltel before they switched over to Verizon so i'm with verizon now any of you with Verizon?

that number and also
708-724-7896...I always miss it and I call back and get the same message as everyone else on here...I used to live in Silver Spring but I don't know anyone who would be calling.

the 2565542267 number is calling me too, they must be from the same place or they are in cohuts with one another.

i told them i would turn them in if they didn't stop calling me. i said that i don't have very many minutes to use and i dont need them to waist them.

I think when I blocked 256-554-2267 they're now calling from this number. Nice.

I keep getting the same call.  But I always seem to miss it.  I think it may be a call from a Correctional Facility.  My Brother Called me once off of it and he's in Prison.  He told me it was their Pre paid cards that they have to pay for.

2403052087 this number called me also 3 time today I called back and there was a message saying something bout incorrect code I'm like wtf but they just called again I ignore the calls wonder who can it bee. If u knoe who it is get @ me thanks

I get several calls a day...they always hang-up.  I found out it is a Sprint number.  I filed a complaint with Sprint, donotcall.gov, and my local phone service provider.  Hopefully one of them can make it stop.

Had this happen to me today too!  Same numbers.  Very annoying.

Just got a call from this number - have gotten three calls today from people who hang up onn me when I answer - 2 from another number - 256-554-2267.  Any one know a way to stop this?

I just got a call from this number as well and know no one from Maryland.

Odd but I just happened across this post while searching up an unrecognized number from a missed call to my cell phone. I received a call from this same number (240-305-2087) at 3:06 CST this afternoon (01/06/10). The only info I could find was that it's a Silver Springs, Maryland number, given the fact I know NOBODY in Maryland, I won't be bothered to answer if they happen to call again.

Caller calls my number repeatedly. I answer the phone and he/she hangs up. I call number back and recording says "The number or code you dialed is incorrect"
