Came home and caller ID was flashing.  Saw Boyton Beach, FL and did a Google and found out about 'em.  This evil credit card fishing comes as no surprise.  

Folks get ID theft insurance! I did and I sleep better.

Got this call tonight, "Heather" about a better credit card rate...DH got hung up on when he spoke to a human.. been on no call list for years...  Number is "not in service"...

I received a call from this number thinking it was a friend calling from another location and when I returned the call it was a 'number was disconnected' line.  Call was received at 7:36pm 8/30/2007

I got a call today from 442088854908 and it had the same recording about lowering interest rate.

The call was on our caller ID so I looked on the internet and found all your postings...why can't we do something about these people??

Automated call said my credit card account was okay but I could get better rates. We don't have any credit cards, and are on the do not call registry.

Call on voicemail same as all the others. When called the number back got the fake recording about no longer in service. I reported to the link above.
Caller ID showed "W Palm Beac, Fl". I guess they don't know how to spell beach!

call received while away (1:16 pm Aug 29).  no message on answering machine.  I never answer a caller I do not recognize on caller ID.

Today at 3:22 P.M (PDT) we received our second recorded call this week from a young-sounding female voice offering a lower interest rate on our "credit card", but was told that it was urgent that we acted NOW. When I realized the nature of the call, I did not bother to respond, but simply hung up. Luckily, the caller's telephone number was listed on our Caller ID.

My experience was similar to the other.  When I asked for information about the bank, the caller hung up.

These mostly Boynton Beach fronts - calling from 561-304-3568 - are run by low level Russian mobsters into various scams. Really nasty people, their girls (I got one of their names - Larissa) moonlight as hookers and are kept drugged up. I have addresses but am reporting those to the local Sheriff's offices, as they know how to control the illegal vermin on their home turf.

Called with a recording about lowering the interest rate on my credit card if  I acted upon it right away - and claimed was my last notification.  I hung up and called the number back and got a recording "The number you have called has been disconnected or is no longer in service.  If you think you have gotten this message in error, please hang up and try again." - right!  I plan to call again to the "Do Not Call" list and complain.

This company called twice in 1 hour. The first time came across as unknown and  pressed #2 to be removed. The second time they called it was this phone #. I pressed #1 to speak to someone as I am on the do not call list. When I asked who the organization was that was calling, the girl giggled and hung up. I have filed a complaint with the PA State Attorney Generals Office.

I just received a call from the same number like you all did but I didn't answer because I was on my other line (cell phone).  When I tried calling the number back I got a recording stating that it was disconnected or not in service.

Possibly all incoming calls to this number are automatically forwarded to a VM which has a "replicated" error message to throw you off.

I am down with reporting these idiots, let me know how I can help.

Received a call at 2:31 PM on 8/27/2007.  Unfortunately my answering machine cut off part of the message, but it pertained to lowering interest rates.  I am on the Do Not Call list, so needless to say this will be reported!!

Received a call from "Heather" (a recording) on 8/27/07 at 11:42 a.m. and pressed 1 to speak to a person because I had received similar calls in the last two weeks and pressed 2 to be removed from list.  I don't think the removal was successful.  The person I talked to said I probably had never received a call from them before and hung on me.

a lady called at 1:26pm on friday august 24th with an offer to reduce credit card interest rates. I hung up and dialed *69. 561-304-3568 came up. currently on the do not call list which expires in 2011 with fed govt. I filed a complaint with the FCC. I'm near Portland Oregon.
anyone willing to help or join in to prosecute these offenders?

I doubt the FCC will do anything but these offenders need to made an example of!

Message said I could reduce the rate on my credit card to 6.9%. Waited for a human. I asked which card it pertained to, she said they service all types of major credit cards. The woman hung up on me when I asked who the call was for. I suspect they are fishing for those who will dole out critical information over the phone so they can steal it.

I keep getting this number on my Caller ID.  I do not answer; they sometimes leave a message (about pressing 1, etc.), sometimes not.

Received a call with a recording regarding lowering the interest rate on my credit card.  Pressed #1 and asked what credit card she represented and was hung up on.  Called the number and was told no longer in service.  FCC and BBB says we need to report this.

Received a call from this number. Stated I was on the do not call list and the man on the line yelled rude remarks at me and hung up on me.
