IF YOU KNOW I HAVE DEBT THEN WHY THEE F*** DO YOU NEED MY SOCIAL S*** YOU SHOULD ALREADY KNOW IT IF THATS THEE CASE AND ITS CRAZY CUZ NOTHING CAN BE DONE TO STOP THESE STUPID BI****S!!!! ALL MY MONEY WILL BE IN MY PURSE TODAY CUZ I WILL NOT SIT AROUND AND LET THEM TAKE MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNTS STUPID BI****S I'M SO GLAD I DIDNT GIVE THEM ANY INFO DUMB A***S ! .

so these called saying a owe 240 dollars for a apartment i dont even stay in and they know my name and all info im sure this is a scam but i am NOT taking any chances all of my money is coming out of thee bank and into my purse

They call my cell phone over and over. Never leave me a voicemail when I return the call to the number in my id, recording states its a debt collector. But when the represantives answer they refuse to provide any info regarding what kind of debt it is or whats the name of their company- half the represantives barely speak english they rush off phone and disco the call. After a few times request their info after I had already provided mine they refused and disco cll, everytime i tried to call back after that they'd just pick up and hang up without saying a thing .

its a debt collector....theyve been calling me for a while now even though they have  the wrong number, theyve only left 1 voicemail ever.

This, along with a few other numbers repeatedly calls my home and asks for a Mr. Wiseman, someone I guess had my telephone number before me because it started as soon as I got it.  I have tried everything from telling them this number does not belong to that person anymore (which they hang up on me while I am saying) to not even bothering anymore and hanging up on them.  I thought we were supposed to be able to report this kind of violation to an agency that goes after them?

Received several calls from this number, they say they are a debt collection agency, but wheni asked for what company they said they cannot tell me that until i give them my social security number to confirm who i am.  This is crap.  I didn't give them my SS Number but this is obviously not a real company.

They called, I answered. Asked for me by name, I said "speaking". I asked who was calling and she said something like "FCR, a credit reporting agency." She said the call was being recorded and transferred me to someone else (took about ten seconds). When the next person picked up I asked who this was; she said a credit collection agency and they are collecting a debt of $200+ under my name for such-and-such Apartments in Alexandria, VA. I said this does not pertain to me and I never had any dealings with that apartment complex. She said are you "Keith XXXX with birth date June XX, XXXX?". I said "No, you have the wrong person." She said "Ok" then CLICK. How unprofessional to just hang up like that, and to give out someone's personally identifiable information.

They say they are Midland Credit Management. But if you google that term, you will get all sorts of info about scams. They are asking for my brother who has never lived here.

I am getting these calls at work and no one ever comes to the line. I get a recorded message saying there is no representative avaliable to take your call sorry we will have to call back.

Didn't leave a message.  Cant find any info on this number.

This foreign accented guy calls me once in awhile and says he is a debt collector? I have no debt to be collected. Scam im sure. Left him a firm message that if he tries contacting me once again I will take legal action!

They called my mom in Puerto Rico and they already know her full name. They asked for her Social Security number because she "has a debt of 2, 400 dollars for buying an apartment. Lucky, she didn't tell them any information!

I received several calls and they never leave a message. I guess if you are not interested in leaving a forward # to return your call, you will never get a hold of me. As simple as that. I don't answer calls that are not on my approved list.

Do a Google search for Midland Credit Management and you will see info about scams.

They are asking for my brother. I don't know where he lives and they won't stop calling. When I ask who is calling, they talk extra fast and I have to make them repeat it. They claim no supervisor is available to take me off their call list and then they hang up.

Caller asks for my husband by first legal name, would not give his name or the corporate name he was calling from. When asked what he was calling about, the call was disconnected!  Foreign accent so I was not surprised.  Called back to number from caller ID, spoke with individual who verified home phone number and last 4 digits of SS number of husband.  Not the party they are looking for!  Asked to be removed from their list of contacts.  This may or may not work!

As per other recommendations on this list, I called the number back and it was a debt collector.

The woman on the line was very polite, and I confirmed with her that they had the wrong information (as I currently have no debt).  She said they would remove my name and number from their system.  I hope this ends the harassment and hope it helps others who are receiving these annoying calls.
