I too got a call at work from Ronald Douglas. I called back and someone said he had a court appearance and would call back. I checked into this and did a reverse call check.They are calling from a cell phone in Cumberland, Maryland.This is definately a scam. Foreiners(with American names) have called me with this mess also. Do Not Send these people anything.

Got a call from a James Harris, he called me at work and asked to speak to me and i said this is her, he studdered and said he has a warrant for me in aaaaalllbama. i told him i would call him back and hung up. When i do call him back i hope he has it recorded because bad as i need money in economy and he is trying to take it from me, i am going to let him have it with no seasoning..

Just got a call from Ronald Douglas 240-580-8477 - Chase, Lowe, & Associates.  He told me that there are 2 charges against me....one was internet fraud & that I owed them for an online loan from National Assitance Funds.  He also said that I hadn't paid them since 2010.  WTH!!!  I immediately hung up.

I received this phone call just now today at 11:15 a.m. from Ken Richardson. When asked where he was calling from he said the same thing Chase, Lowes and Associated.  Wanted to know if I had an attorney; now why would you ask this before giving any information to warrant your call!  When he told me all this information, I asked him to send it to me and he said they had sent me six letters and emailed me.  Wrong email, wrong information!  I think they are reading what's posted because I had just posted on an 800 number that the number was blocked and they with this number 240-580-8477.  I told him I would have my attorney contact me and he acted strange.  A professional person wouldn't act like that at all.  This is so ridiculous and I hope they find these SCAMMERS!  I was scammed before and am not sending any money to anyone via Western Union.  Once the company got the money and I called to confirm it, number no longer in service; almost had a heart attack.  So people please be careful.

keep getting phone calls at my job in maryland.  I paid the bill and have copy of the receipt and letter to confirm it was paid still harrassing me at my job.  This time the phone number is 240-580-8477 and the person was Ronald Douglas said they were from Chase, Lowes and Associates.  They had 2 claims against me.  Gave me a case number.  I asked for their address and a manager they would not let me speak to anyone else.  I explained i had taken care of it he tried to overtalk me thats when I figured out it was another scam!  I have several other numbers from 2 years ago.

Received voicemail from "Damien Michaels" for a person that isn't at the WORK number they called demanding the person call them back immediately. They gave NO name to their company and only used the term "please call me at my division at 240-580-8477". Sounds like a bogus attempt to collect on a terribly old debt as I've been at this work number for SIX years and no one by the name they left is at this number or has been as long as I've been here. Strange.

GOt call from same number said his name was Ronald Douglas calling from 240-580-8477. Same scam different number last time it was 630-708-6845 number. Reporting to my FBI and FTC

Received a call from a Kimberly Thompson - she would not give her company - she called us about 8 times until I would talk to her - I told her it is illegal to call anyone at work about a debt - real or not.  This is NOT a real debt -   She said they mailed 8 letters - BUT SHE WOULD NOT TELL ME TO WHERE THEY WERE MAILED or when - would not send copies by email.  I told her I would call her back to 240-580-8477  That number is bogus.  I have blocked it on my home/cell and have advised our office to block.  This firm can not even say who they are.

got a call from this number and the lady informed me that i owed money from 2005 and she gave me the name of kimberly thompson and said they mailed me 9 letters.  told her i want copies of the letters either faxed or emailed to me and was told she could not do that.  i informed her i cannot pay for something that i am not aware of owing.  she sounded so shady.

This line keeps calling and has called my work to state they need to hear from me or my lawyer!!

I received a phone call just a few minutes ago from this number.  I went through this a month or so ago with the same company, but calling from a number based in Florida! Its a crock of crap & they are relentless.  If I owed money, I would think that they would contact me through my local courthouse, not my cell phone.  Also, the number is registered as a cell phone. Don't fall for it, they make a killing off of people who think that they have done something wrong. I wish there was a way to stop them!!!!

Case Law... its scammers. Unfortunately some companies sell information and they use it for this. They try and hustle you to pay or "go to jail".

Best thing to do is dont confirm any information they give you and dont pay them anything. Contact your Local FBI and offer the information.

Just received a phone call from someone from Chase Lowes & Associates asking for $605 from an unpaid loan.

Got a call this morning reported saying he was from Case Law Associates, I've received fraud calls before on some old online applications. His claim was i committed internet fraud by taking "currency and not paying it back" i told him that i would let my FBI office know which i will. I haven't seen much posted but i know the type. If you have had the same please post to help spread the word.

I know it was a phishing scam as I know i have not paid anything back that would warrant a case against me. I know he was going to try and threaten me and give me all this bullcrap so i cut him off before he did.
