I got the same call this morning from a woman named Mary and the number was 951-892-7522 and found out who they were. They are not Bankhurst life & casualty they are Bankers life and casualty and this is their website http://www.bankers.com/default.aspx
Look up your branch and call them and ask them if the person that called you works there. I called and asked if Mary worked there and if that was her number and I got a yes. :)

Got the call today 9/19/11 and same thing. Someone named Mary from Bankhurst Life, saw my resume posted online and wanted to go over some career opportunities they have available. The phone # they left me was 951-892-7522
I called Mary back, lets see if she calls me back. I also googled the phone # and it is the same scam.

I received a call from them too. Bankhurst life & casualty, although it sounded like she said cash royalty because of the accent. Said her manager saw my resume on Monster and asked her to call. They wanted me to come in tomorrow for a 1hr presentation on what they do and yadayadayada. I've been out of work for almost a year now and it pisses me off that these folks will prey on folks during a hard time. I won't be calling them back. Smells like a rat.

Not sure who this was....could not understand half of what the person said. Just know that the number is from Maryland.

Yep, I got the call too, Bamkhurst Life. I kept making the person repeat several times what they where saying and every time I asked a question they sounded mad and went back to what sounded like reading a rehearsed answer. They smell fishy. Must be a scam, but they called me from my area code, I was thrown by that.

I got a call yesterday from a Tracey. It was hard to hear exactly what she said, but it sounded like Bankhurst Life and Casualty Company.
A quick google search came up with Bankers Life and Casualty Company. She was calling from 302-918-4597. When I tried to call it back, I get her voicemail. She sounds like a natrual english speaker to me.
Other than the background noise and all these posts about this same type of thing, it sounded legitimate to me.
This sucks. Here I am out of work for a year and I've only gotten a few calls during that time. Half of them are for commission sales jobs or "job opportunities" where they want me to pay money to sell their product. I'm out of work people, I have no money to buy into your scams and I'm not a salesman.

Got calls on answering machine twice this week from 708-593-4405 from Jack saying he saw my resume online and has opportunity with Bankhurst Life and Casualty Company. Too much of a coincidence with the rest of these postings to take this seriously; advise to steer clear. No Google hits on the company name either.

Not sure who this is. Like Mary, I couldn't understand a word he was saying, only that he said he saw my resume online and that he was calling from some company in Evansville, IN. about a position. Said his name was Richard.
