Keep getting calls from 2409658500. Some kind of home improvement company. My number is on "do not call list"

I have been getting calls from this number for a while. I do not answer they will not leave a message but they keep calling back.
Any company that keeps wasting time calling the same number and getting nowhere can't be selling anything I would be interested in.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result?

Now, I do remember a company giving me an enormously high roof replacement estimate.  The company I chose charged me less than a third of the price to do the job.  If it is this company, they were extremely rude when I refused their "generous" estimate.  And now, I suppose, my "punishment" for working with them however briefly is to get harassed with phone calls.  The latest, I just received today, 5/19/14 at 3:22PM, EDT.

Reading the posts, here, makes me wonder why they're harassing me, as I don't recall anyone coming to my door.  However, they do like to call my number and have unsuccessfully tried to reach me 4 separate times, 4/2/14, 3/18/14, 3/17/14, 3/14/14.  Good luck idiot company!!

Don't know this number, but after reading these posts, it's probably Power Home Remodeling.   Had an estimate from them for siding - sorry, can't afford $30-40k for siding!  They've been calling daily.  I don't answer unknown numbers, so hasn't bothered me.  They don't leave a message.   Android phones have an option to add numbers to the "reject" list, so I don't expect to have any more issues.

Reading your post I'm surprised they haven't gotten buckshot in their collective backsides. Thank you for the warning.

1-240-965-8500  I tossed these guys (power remodel/roofing, siding & windows) off my property 6-months ago -- yet they contine to call wanting to stop by to give me an estimate.  I helped get them
kicked out of my town, it seems they were not suposed to come around after dark.  Their prices are very high.  Now I get calls from their home office (above).  Plenty of local guys at 1/2 or 1/3rd the price. If you need home improvement work try a local guy -- any problems they are right down the street.  Don't answer & delete.

These guys are relentless.  I made the mistake of actually letting the guy tell me how my roof needed work and to have someone come out for estimate.  He persisted to get my wife's number as well "just in case you weren't available."  No way, not a chance.  When the guy was on his way he called and asked if my wife was there as well for the estimate.  She was still at work, and he told me "I can only do the estimate if both of you are there so there's no questions or dispute over the work."  These people are crazy.  I told him thanks but no thanks, they can cancel my estimate.  This is exactly why I didn't give them my wife's number, its all a scheme so that when I stop answering their calls they can call and harass her.  They stop by a least twice a month "doing work up the street."  Yeah right.  I've blocked their number but they still call a few times a month as I still see it come up on my auto-block list.

This remodeling company calls me on my cell and work number. The salesman cornered me while shopping at BJ wholesale club in MD. High pressure sales tactics following me around while I was shopping. Now, they will not stop calling me both at work and on my cell

This number 240-965-8500 calls my phone Monday through Saturday, twice a day at 8 something in the morning and 4 something to 5 something in the afternoon (at least 12 phone calls a week).  They never leave a message.  If I pick up the phone, they hang up.  So frustrated!

Receive numerous calls from this number. Mistakenly gave them my number when they rang my doorbell and I thought it was the UPS guy.

This is pure harrassment. I've repeatedly told them to remove my name from the database and they still call back. Isn't there someway for them to stop this. They even say that "they'll be dropping by the neighborhood and can they come in?" CREEPY!

I made the mistake of giving them my cell phone number as well and they call me sporadically, sometimes two days in a row, sometimes once per week. Months ago I asked them to stop calling me but now I don't answer the phone and they don't leave a message. If it continues I will have to get more aggessive. It is the Power Home Remodel Group

I just talked to a guy who was going door to door and agreed to let them give me an estimate tomorrow. Already I am getting these fishy calls with no one speaking. What kind of company does this, it's insane. I wrote them an email to cancel the appointment, there are lots of bad reviews of this company and their pushy tactics and overpriced products online.

It's from Power Home Remodeling Group.   Go to bbb.org (Better Business Bureau) and file a complaint.   I filed a complaint several months ago and they continue to call me.   Directly quote from BBB: "182 complaints in last 3 years"   Also, go to ftc.gov (Federal Trade Commission) and file a complaint about violating the National Do Not Call Registry.

Kudos to you, Mike, for throwing the guy off your porch.  If some of these people got beaten up or manhandled then maybe this behavior would stop.  The government/FTC are powerless to do anything about these folks  .... I therefor feel justified in harming one of them, especially if he is on my property.

Yes, it's Power Remodeling. I threw one of their guys off my porch a few months back after they continually pressed for more and more info just to do an estimate. A few weeks ago in a weak moment, and not realizing they were the same company, I gave them my cell number in setting up an estimate. They have called a number of times on that number AND the home number I gave them the first time. Exactly the same sales tactics everyone else has described. Losers.

Same thing here... I tired to sell something on craigslist.. I am thinking maybe they got my number there. They don't leave messages and continue to be a pain!

seriously,,, they are calling again.. 8:07 AM ! fort. i had my volume on silent on my cell phone. they did not leave a message.  def. will never deal with them with their incessant calling, no one ever says anything the times i have answered.

just got a call from this #. if it is power home remodeling, im irritated. ive told them to not call anymore. the salesman did come to my door, impossible to get him to leave until i agreed to have an appt setup. how convenient that someone "right down the road" was having work done, or an appt or something also.  so the next day after my "appt" was setup i cancelled it.  the door to door salesman really would not take that I didnt need anythig done, and since they do more than windows I KNEW if i had salesman come, he would try and sell me something besides windows.  have gotten 2 other follow up calls in the last 6 months, still telling them I didnt need anything at all.  now 11:40 AM today, got a call, answered it, did not hear anything on the other end, they hung up. so maybe they are seeing if the numbers are still good to pass on to other salesman?  but b/c of their sales tactics, i will never use them.
