try to call back but call canot bo completed

This person called me at 6:30 while I was at work. I tried calling back... call cannot be completed as dialed? I don't want this person to call again.

called at 5:53 it was a female, she asked if my name was correct and hung up.

called at 7:14 pm -  did not leave a massage

This is a number that calls T-Mobile cell phones to try and get you to waste minutes using airtime so you will purchase more time.

If these statements are true...isn't that illegal? I "heard" it was illegal to solict over cellphones. Not to mention I'm with AT&T.

I am having the same problem as you all. I dont think it has something to do with T mobile, bcos mine is Nextel connection.

Infact I started getting calls from this num after I visited "Pep-Boys"....has it something to do with them?

I visited pep boys on Friday (2-22-08) and got a call from this number on Mnday (2-25-08). I registed on the national do not call list. everytime i get a call - i file a complaint online. which takes about 5 seconds to do. the site is donotcall.gov

i just recieved my first call from this #, couple rings then hung up....oh and yep guess what? i just purchsed some tires from pep boys just a few days ago....wtf is this about....come manny moe and jack stop w/ the calls if you got nothing to say damn....

complete repairs at a second Pep Boys (02/24/08).

Received call on my cell phone no message from 247-633-2345

I visited a Pep Boys 9 days ago. This number called and I didn't answer. I googled it and found this chain of posts. I've since emailed Pep Boys corporate and told them to put me on their do not call list.

As an aside, I had to explain to the moron who took my information in the store that Quattro is Audi's designation for 4-wheel drive, not a 4-cylinder engine. He insisted my A4 has a 4-cyl engine because it is a Quattro. He went on to explain that "Quattros have a 1.8 liter Turbo engine, otherwise known as a 1.8T, which is a 4cyl engine." I told the idiot that Audi A4s are also available with a 2.4 liter 6-cyl engine, and that if he would read my trunk, he would see 2.4 prominently displayed, not 1.8T. He said, "But it says Quattro!" Yeah, dumbass, that's because it has 4WD, too.

OMG. And these people fix cars?!?!?

247-633-2345. Do you think the Better Business Bureau might be able to do something? Is that in their line of work? I was just at Pep Boys the other day for tires, now I've gotten this phone call from this number 2 days in a row so far. Guess if I go there again, I'll give them a fake number and sit and wait for my service, because the one here has outstanding service.

Must be Pep Boys. I had them look at my car last week.

They wanted $650 to fix a leaking fuel line. I declined and fixed it for $8 and 15 minutes of work that same day!

last week visited Pep Boys, and this week got a call and no message on my voicemail. When you call the number you hear "the call can not be completed" message.

I also recently visited Pep Boys and they had my cell phone number as a call back number. We answered and there was no one on the line. I looked up the area code and found this site. I visited a Pep Boys in Fresno a week ago.

I got a call from this number today but didn't answer....and I did indeed visit Pep Boys this week, so maybe that's it.

Saw the number on caller Id when I called the number back it said he number was not inservice

I got a call from this number saying if I had visited Pep Boys in recently, which I had. It was just one question asking me to give a rating for tsier service, which I gave. He was then abrupt and said thanks asking for any other feedback. It happened all very quick.

This is a totaly bogus number.  Most likely used for infomation phishing.  This person or organization knows how to assign an area code mask.  This type of software is used by telemarketers so they don't get caught violating the "Do Not Call" statutes.  This area code has not even been assigned by any of the phone companies.  See details below.  Becareful how you answer this number.  I would let my FAX machine give it a blast when they call.  Better yet don't answer at all.
