woman said she dialed the wrong number

Same thing. Woman's voice says after a slight delay "I'm sorry. I must have dialed the wrong number." I am pretty sure it was a recording.

I just received a call from this number. It's Sunday evening @8:15pm. The voice sounded recorded and it was the same message as the others have reported... Sorry, I must have dialed the wrong number. Not sure what that was about but I will not be calling the number back.

just got call from 248.283.6036...female voice said 'sorry, I must have the wrong number' or something very close to that.  could this be some scam and they want you to call the number back??  not going to worry about it, as a matter of fact I have already lost inter....

I have received 7-10 intrastate (Michigan) calls from 248-283-6036. It is a prerecorded female voice stating "Sorry, I must have dialed the wrong number". I don't know the purpose of having an automated system dial people with a recorded message to state that they have called the wrong number.

248-283-6036 is a land line, based in Birmingham, MI.

Please post a message to this board, if you are located outside Michigan, and have received a similar prerecorded call from 248-283-6063.

Answered the call...then silence. I hung up.

I got a debt collection call early in the day, then I got a call from this number in the evening, when I answered a woman said "Sorry, I must have the wrong number" than disconnected. I couldn't tell if it was a robo-call or a live person though.

I hope they don't put me back into whatever call list I was previously on!

Caller hung up without leaving a message.
