Just called me. Opened with "I'm from the Auto Protection Company" and rattled on. I asked Auto Protection Company for who? and he restarted the spiel. When I re-asked, he stated that I had an older model car (I don't) and began the spiel again. I stated that he was a spammer slinging spam and hung up. Total scam.

Got a call today from this number and they said they were with the Auto Protection Department.  I said are you with Ford and she hung up.  Scammers tried to sell me a warranty on my leased car

Rude, not polite and should take in consideration when someone is traying to help ti update a wrong number in your system
If you cannot handle a phoone call, you should not be working

Called my wireless number.  Didn't recognize it, so I didn't answer.  Left no message.

Amazing, he called about my Buick from two years ago....little did he know I actually work for Buick.  Total scam!!

Scam, try to sale auto warranty for a vehicle I don't own april, 04, 2014

my phone rang and when i answered it it was actually ringing. someone picked up, said hello, and then hung up.

bizarre, but i;m blocking the number now that i know it's a scam. thanks.

Just got a call from them. Said he was from Ford Auto Reprocessing. They verified i was the owner of a 2010 ford fusion. said they sent 2 notices to my old address (which i didn't tell them i don't live at anymore). He was going to push me off to someone to review my options for an extended warranty. I said, "hold on. Let me save you some time. I'm not interested in any extended warranty." He said that it's it's for my benefit. I said "i understand, and i have the option to reject buying anything i don't want". He said that it's not an option and that he's going to sign me up and send me the bill to my (old) address. I said, "no you're not". and he said "you're signed up" and then hung up on me. Usually you'd have to give a confirmation number. I don't know if i'll actually be seeing a bill, but they're not getting paid.

They called me and asked if my vehicle was purchased or lease. I asked who was calling and they said they were from an underwriting company. When I asked why they needed the information, they hung up. Smells like a scammer!

They're getting good, too! Opened quickly with, "Hi, I'm calling from (forgot company name), about your (correct year) Jeep. We see that you have yet to extend your warranty (as if I had overlooked some routine paperwork thing). How many miles do you currently have on your vehicle?"

Said I wasn't interested, and they hung up on me.

Careful! Don't just go giving out info to anyone calling for it. And don't let some fast-talking sales guy lead you into a conversation like it's some routine thing.

I picked up but nobody was on the other end.  I have a Cadillac so I am assuming that the people above have it right.  Glad I didn't talk to anyone!

Received a phone call from this number and it was apparently a trainee.  When I asked what the name of the company was, he said the Cadilac Auto Reprocessing.  I then said "give me a second to google this".  He then spoke to someone that must have been sitting next to him and said that I was googling the name, then he said "should I hang up" and I heard the man in the back gtround say "Yes".
This is a scam and they have been calling a lot....  Do not give them any information....
