I just got a call from 248- 200-5066. Is this really a scam? They called me this morning and set an appointment for an interview. Is this time wasted?

I just got another call from this Universal Gas company they wanted to talk to me about possible opportunities. I returned their call and asked about the job and its some Customer Service job, dont bother with this company. This is a scam if you ask me.

Received a call claiming they got my name off of Career Builders....I've never posted a resume on Career Builders!!!!!!!!  Thank you for all your comments.  This really helps.  Time is precious, and I sure don't want to waste my time and miss out on a real opportunity.

I just got the same call from Cathy. She used a Cleveland number of 216-370-3505.

got a voice mail from Cathy at "Adjust Energy" in Southfield 248-200-5006,
said they saw my resume on Career Builder.

I to had a call from Teresa.  But what she didnt know is that my friend use to work for them and it is all a total rip-off.  You promise people savings on thier bills if they switch over.  Than your rates go through the roof.  I too have seen this comapny on the news.  WATCH OUT !

Energy Services a person named Kris (female)contacted me to try to set up an appointment to view their pitch - would not give me any info until I come in and hear what they have to offer. Located in Southfield, MI. Because of the lack of info I told them I would call them later. No info + needed appointment to hear info = SCAM !!  (Bye Bye)

SCAMMERS..professional rip off artists stay away from them ..I wouldn't work for them its sales and they also rip people off into thinking there going to give them a savings...they might lock your rate for awhile but then up you and you cant get out of it untill you pay!! Dont let them on your porch believe me!!!!!!

This company scammed me years ago to say they were cheaper and later they gouged me for 100's of Dollars!! Stay away from these people they were also on the local news about there scam outfit!!They are crooks believe me..Consumers energy is best!!

Thanks for the update. I too got a call from this number and was going to call but decided to do a search on the number. They left a message and said they were Univeral looking for full time workers. If they had said Universal Gas & Electric I wouldn't have bothered.

Yes, got a call today from "Courtney" at "Energy Services" who trolls Careerbuilder.

Basically they want to get you in to hear their pitch.  Using tactics like "I dont know the specifics of the position" and "This is the last day we are interviewing".

Ignore it and move on.

The company is called Universal Gas & Electric.  Based in Southfield, MI.  I also got a call--I think they're going thru careerbuilder & picking off jobseekers.  They seem to be looking for customer reps & positions like that.

Can someone tell me the name of the company behind this phone number?
