So what did you do? Is there no way to get this person to stop?

What did the police end up doing? The scam continues but I don't know what to do about it?

My wife also corresponded with this individual as a consultant. 100% spam. wcabam@outlook.com
Keep an eye out for poor use of English, or incorrect words. That should be your 1st red flag. The 2nd would be if they want you to send product to someone else, in this case a daughter in another state.

Stay safe out there, and good luck in your endeavors.

I did the same thing and got a check for the exact same amount. Did the police department tell you it was a scam? I have tried to research all sorts of things with no luck.

I too have received and email from this person and because I am new to the MK business I responded to the email before contacting my director about this. They sent me a check for $1,999.09 and then asked me to deposit the check into my account, deduct the total of the products from the amount, send the money via Money Gram to a person in Iowa who is taking care of his daughter who just happened to get into an accident. The check was sent to me from a company in colorado but mailed from california...do not respond to this person...its a check fraud scam. I did not deposit the check, I turned it over to my local police department.

I received the same message, sent an e-mail (warily, didn't click any links), and received a response with an order in poor English, wanting to send a check, etc. In addition to all the other shadiness involved here, the order included tinted moisturizer which we no longer carry.

I also received a text from this number and did reply to this person via email. I am also a Mary Kay rep....He placed an order and wants me to email him back with the total amount due as well as my address so he can send me a check.  What is weird is that I am in NY and he stated he lives in NC.  I find it difficult to believe he could not locate a MK rep in NC -- I am not going to respond to his email after researching on line and finding these posts.  Thank you to all of you!

I'm a Mary Kay Consultant, and I received a text message from this number asking me if I was still a consultant and wanted me to directly email them. I received similar texts and emails from "Rose Walker" before who is a well known scammer with many aliases. It made me think that the same person is giving me a different identity and trying to scam me again. The person's name was Jackson Cabam and his email was  wcabam@outlook.com.
