How do u spell SCAM? I simply don't answer call from place or numbers i don't recognize.

I get this call at least 2 times a week...how do I stop it

Received a call from HOH. Left no message. Charities keep calling for donations.

I get calls regularly from different numbers this organization has and EACH AND EVERY TIME I chose the "remove from call list" option but they keep calling. I am not in a position to donate a car but if I was some place that does robo calling is NOT a place I would choose !!!!!

"F" the donations, I say ! ! ! .....   Don't have any FREE money to spread around to anyone, anymore. Especially if there is no feedback or retribution for a donation....Much of my feelings are because of SCAM crap by some obnoxious, illiterate and demeaning creeps that want to SCAM others using falsehoods and demeaning methods to do so.
To bad for the legitimate others whereby CREEPS and A' holes like this ruin the gift of giving for positive others. Despicable at best so I give more to my church where I can see a positive result. Last week, I took a Veteran to dinner, a movie and popcorn. Oh and his family too. Got more out of that and so did he.. Think of this as you ponder about your donations.

Generally, I believe non-profits are exempt from the Do Not Call list. That said, a lot of the so-called charities that solicit over the phone are rated poorly by Charity Navigator. So, if I somehow happen to answer one of these calls, I tell them I don't donate to anyone calling over the phone. If I want to dontate to charity, I can find plenty reputate ones locally.

To stay on topic, I received a call from this number yesterday when I was out. They didn't bother leaving a message.

LOL! I agree with you guys! I work in maximum security psych prison - I DON'T PICK UP IF I DON'T KNOW WHO'S CALLING!! Even if I didn't work with felons, I still ignore anyone I don't recognize.

4:25pm 11-6-13    Phone rang, caller ID shows  H.O.H. and 248-721-4249.  Call from Oakland County, MI. I'm 163 miles north......so why would they be calling me. No voice or recording.  Blank.

I'm sick of these........... if it's not politicians asking for money, it's these groups..............ENOUGH ALREADY

Robocall hawking some charity, I hung up before getting any additional information.

it is a scam.

Called the number back.  It has a recorded message for an organization called Housing Our Heroes.   Don't know if it is legitimate or not.

Caller ID on phone call today said H.O.H,  Phone #248-721-4249.  Received call last week from H.O.H. Phone  #248-387-4020. Seems they have people calling from different numbers and different cities in Michigan.

Received a call today from this number also. CID said H.O.H.  They only called once and didn't leave a message.  This call is a new one.  I looked online, and it said it was a VoIP number from Royal Oak Michigan.

I have received 4 calls today from this number, I answered the first call and there was only dead air on the other end.I'm on the do not call list and I work midnights, they have called and woke me up 4 freakin times today! I wish I had someone who works at that places home number, I would call them repeatedly all night long, just so they know how it feels. I'm glad its my house phone and not my cell. Thank you everyone for the info on who is bothering me!

Do not answer any call that has a number or name that I do not recognize.
Used the name of 'tired one' because that is how I feel with all of these calls.
Calls raising money from so-called police. child support. and numerous other organizations.
I google the name and/or number and usually find who they are from sites such as this one.

When you donate to any kind of charity and put your personal info on they reciept they pass this along to other charities, as far as Do Not call list, I have been told by Do Not call that they are excluded, they can place calls to you if you provided charity information.

I am on the do not call list and these creeps found some legal loop hole around the do not call list.

Its probably some foreign piece of s*** that opened a business here. Indian, Pakistani or some f** from the middle East.

I say when we find out who the s****ead is behind this we go meet them with a big oak stick like  the one in the movie " Walking Tall". We can take turns letting the oak stick spell out " Next time we are coming to see you with guns"
