This individual keeps calling looking for someone who I do not know and does not live here. I have told him this repeatedly and his last question was how are you related. WHAT PART OF I DO NOT KNOW WHO YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!!! I would assume this to be harassment, since ALL of my bills are paid. He said his name was Raymond. Does anyone know how to report this. It has to be illegal since I am not, or do I know the person he is calling for.

They called my number 3 times today while I was gone, I called them back and they asked for someone who used to live here a few years ago. I asked them to take my number off of their call list and they did.

If you ever see the caller id with a city in all caps its a collector. They put in a nearby city to make you think its a nearby call. They do it all caps with a state as well. I saw one with MICHIGAN and I thought it was a call from a state agency; nope, it was a collector....

"Pay your bills" how dare you pass judgement on someone you don't even know about paying their bills. You don't know anyones situation or how it may have recently changed. They may be having to decide to feed their kids or pay that doctor bill. I'd say a prayer tonight that you never fall into this situation. That is just rude and full of disrespect to struggling families!

Actually, "pay_your_bills," that's not entirely true. Creditors do harass people, even those that are working with them and paying their bills. It's a known problem with the collection industry. They almost all violate one law or another.
And I could be wrong, but I think it's illegal to use those sneaky tactics. ;)

@ ck - Pay your bills and a collection agency wouldn't be calling you, hence they try to be sneaky because they know your a deadbeat and won't answer if you know it's them.

This is ARS a collections agency. Very sneaky, called 7:44 from an unknown number and called back from this number 2 minutes later. Local number, thought was a cell number so I answered, stupid me.
