Today he is going by Saint Maxwell.  He offered to send me a "company check". But of course he did not say what company. Did not ask to see pictures of the item, or ask any questions about other details of the item.  That triggered my mind to knowing it was a scam.  Thanks to the different posts I have read, it helped confirm my suspicions.

How can we bust these people who scam so many people out of their money? They should be arrested!

Hi, I received an email just like the ones already described but wanted to send cashiers check. I really thought something not right because you do not purchase a saddle and NOT asked questions. I responded by sending email and asked for personal information and proof he had even read my ad. My ad states to put "saddle pictures" in subject box when responding so I know it is not spam.
He did not do this. I will be very careful who I am selling to.
