Received a call from someone identifying themselves as Brian Harris from APR.
Asked to speak with our Director of Operations, who flat refuses to take calls from unsolicited sources.
When asked if he would like to leave a message he gave the call back number as (248) 948-1235.

Upon further investigation I discovered APR stood for American Profit Recovery - a debt collection agency that works on behalf of companies such as ours. Curious that the caller would not be forthcoming about this information. URL to company site - http://www.americanprofit.net/

Bryan Harris called here too. 248-948-1235  Said he was with Lakeside Service, plumbing & heating co.  No such company with that phone number.  Asked for the boss by name.  Wish to make all these pests quit calling and Advertising junk and Credit card processors who can save you LOTS of money.  Leave me alone so I can do my job!

Brian Harris has called around once a month since September. Has given two business names in that time. No idea what he wants.

Finally got some infor out of him this time.. Told him the owner will not call if he doesn't tell me something more specific.    Soliciting a debt recovery company... Annoyed that they won't just tell us that... rambles off a bunch of names of business in the same industry that they work with sounded to me like he was just looking at a list in the phone book....

Called here @ 6am said he was from Corner Stone Health Care. Asking for me or the owner,however when he gets me,then he always wants the owner. He has called both of our Facilities numerous times and still hasn't divulged WHY he's calling.

Same thing.  Apparently asked for GM and then left me a message to call him back, but no information on who or what he is.

Brian Harris called and left message for our owner. Said he was with Co-optical. We are a private Optometry office. I assume he is cold calling for optical buisness. I think we will pass just the same.

Caller ID says "American Profit".  Caller IDs himself as Brian Harris.  Says he works for Fairway Lawns. Keeps asking for our owner.  When I press for a reason, he says he needs to ask him a question about the business.

I was out on medical leave and my boss ended up having to field these types of calls all day long.  You can't get anything done when you are constantly interrupted by telemarketers.  He has found a way to deal with these types of calls.  We have a new phone system with caller ID.  We capture the numbers from unwanted sales calls.  When they call again, they cannot get through.  Our unwanted calls have dropped dramatically recently and we hope to eventually eliminate them all.

Brian Harris calls and asks for my boss, Knows his name and wants to speak with him. Caller ID says "American Profit" won't say what is about but has called at least 20 times. Please stop.

Brian Harris called all friendly and wanting to speak with my boss.  When informed he was out of the office, he wanted me to take his number and call my boss right away to return his call quickly -- yeah, right!  

Believe him to be using a local affliation to try and drum up business for himself -- whatever that is.  We did not invite his call, and it is not welcome.

He is one of 3 or 4 that keep calling. Call ID comes up "American Profit" but they dodge the "what company are you with" with a "we work with XXX", and the company keeps changing.
Like others, always asks for owner, won't leave any more info.

BRIAN HARRIS CONTINUES TO CALL FOR OWNER, KNOWS OWNERS NAME. HE CAN KEEP TRYING- HE WON'T GET THROUGH.
