Same a Debra. Chances are that they have you number in another customers file becuas they ised to own it. Just tell them that it is now your number and you dont owe anything. They will stop the calls.

collectors usually leave messages...when I called back it just kept ringing-no answer.

DTE has called me from this number

this number is calling me and says nothing

I call it back and the number is disconnected with a recording it's a non-working number

I have been receiving calls from DTE for over a year asking me to call them back at this #.  I've never had a late payment in my life.  I don't know what they're up to, but it can't be good.  I called back immediately after the last call and asked to be taken off the list.  So far, so good.

Just got a call, answered it - it was automated saying to call 877-305-4914 immediately regarding my DTE account that is seriously past due.  The call came in from 248-948-1384 ~  Haven't paid a DTE bill late in years so I'm not going to worry about it - figure it's a scam.

DTE Energy. Warning us the meter readers would be around within the next few days and to keep dogs locked up.

It is a notice that you can't view your bill online the same way as before. You have to do something different now.

My bill isn't even due this month and i'm not past due... Why am I getting this call?

8AM-9PM. SINCE I DONT KNOW ANYONE IN 248 AREA CODE THATS OF ANY IMPORTANCE,I DONT ANSWER THE PHONE ANY LONGER FROM ANY 248'S OR 800'S NO MORE. SAVES A LOT OF HASSLE. LET EM LEAVE A MESSAGE.

When I called back an automated voice asked for my credit card number so I could pay over the phone!?
