I am getting a call from them, and the funny thing, i have not bought anything from home depot and dont want my floors done. They may be telemarketing.
Argue 2012-12-28 21:20:42 Unknown
I have tried to return a call to this number and it is a law firm and the receptionist is the snottiest person I have talked to in many ages. She says her job is important and she does not have time to talk to someone who is calling about Home Depot. This number called us three times and yet she claims this is not the number for the home depo t measuring company. What gives.

I didn't know who this number was when they first called, but I do know that they DID leave a detailed message all three times that I had missed their call. I believe they are actually a department of The Home Depot now and not MeasureComp. The guy that I had chosen to speek with all three times I called back is the reason I am commenting back on this because I looked this site up when they called me the first time and I didn't know who the weird phone number was. They are legit. He was just really great at making a customer feel good. He kept me smiling all three times I talked to him (he even sounded kind of hot I think because he just sounded smart). But anyways yes this number is The Home Depot and yes I did purchase my order over with him and the service was great. I actually told the guy that I talked to about the comments I had read about on here and I ended up promising him I would leave this message after I had finally paid my order with him. You are the one who paid for your measure they are just calling you as demand of the service you paid for.

Yes the phone number is from MeasureComp. I paid home depot for a measurement. I have only received 1 call and called back and they are legit. We will see if they continue to call back. So far so good.

Jami 2011-09-26 19:54:25 Unknown
Yes, I may have paid them to come out, but I told them when we make a decision I'd call them, and to quit calling me, yet they still keep calling. English must be hard for them to understand.
Andy 2011-08-03 18:58:33 Unknown
Actually, you may pay Home Depot, but Measure Comp is the one who does the job. Home Depot sub contracts ALL of the work you pay them for, even the actual installers who come to your house are only contracted by Home Depot but they do not work exclusively for Home Depot.

measure for Home Depot. They call over and over.
Me 2011-06-22 19:32:01 Unknown
It is company who measured carpet for Home Depot.
RM 2011-06-06 20:44:12 Unknown
It's Home Depot: For floor measuring.
Dusty 2011-06-06 20:44:12 Unknown
It's a company that measures flooring for Home Depot.
MeasureComp 2011-06-01 01:24:05 Unknown
Yes the phone number is from MeasureComp. MeasureComp is the world's largest floorcovering measure service and is contracted by The Home Depot to both measure and call back customers with the cost of their projects after the measure is completed. These calls are not solicitations as they are part of the sales process initiated by the customer (you paid for the measure and sales quote). To end the calls, simply call back to the number and tell them you are not interested in purchasing. They are only trying to reach you to give you the sales quote for your flooring project.
MeasureComp is located in Oak Park, MI, but they operate nationwide.

not true . home depot was paid not measurecomp
Interested reader 2011-05-27 15:23:38 Unknown
It would be interesting to know what city you're from. Hard to believe the Home Depot would do nothing about this!
Lee 2011-05-23 06:15:06 Unknown
Measurecomp doesn't install anything they are a company who "measures" for Home Depot
Leslie 2011-03-15 03:52:38 Unknown
Um, take into account, this is NOT a solicitation, you ASKED them to come out and measure. They call as part of their contract w/Home Depot to follow up on REQESTED MEASURES (remember, you paid them to come to your home)
Get over it
Kami 2010-11-19 22:06:20 Unknown
Wow! thanks for the warning. they are coming soon to install carpet and I will watch them closely.
sane 2010-08-12 23:51:42 Unknown
its measure comp here too......
they are wrapping up trying to lock in a date or something.
problem is last time I had a crew come from Home Depot the "crew" stole things from my daughters room.
credit card usage was traced to a nearby gas station. I actually pushed to get the video form the station and there was my "Home Depot Certified and Verified" "crew....using the stolen card!!!!
the bank refunded me. I notified the police but they did nothing because the amount was so low ($35).
the card was cancelled and the next morning the Home Depot Criminal Carpet Crew tyried swiping the stolen daughters credit card again, but this time it was denied.
I complained to Home Depot and the manager didn't do S&^%....
just an FYI for everyone. don't be stupid and assume these are some honest and abiding citizens working in your home. these are contractors from anywhere with any back ground....
coming into your home.
Kathleen 2010-01-04 20:56:45 Unknown
Yes, it is Measure Comp & they measure for Home Depot. They do not leave messages, just call repeatedly. When I called and said AGAIN please stop calling I do not want service and AGAIN demand do not call me, the response was "there's no way to do that" ! I informed them I was on a do not call list and they were breaking the law as they had been informed 'DO NOT CALL" and they said they would "make a note". Yeah Right
If and when they call me again I will file a formal complaint!
DR 2009-11-30 22:09:01 Survey
It is Measure Comp. They do surveys for Home Depot for things like carpet and hardwood floor measurements. I just had a floor done by Home Depot and these were the guys that came and measured prior to install. Called me twice today without leaving a message - very annoying...
