same text

I just received a text from 248 971 0913 US Exress and 20 minutes later from 877 301 4979 US Exress. I reported both to Verizon by texting to 7726 and also received an url to block the numbers.

I received the same text. I texted 7726 and  it provided me with a url to block the phone #.

received tex from 732686523@vtext message is exactly as shown:  (-US-Direct_Exress-) Call 1.248.971.0913   I called it from a non published land line and it is a text to speech application asking me to enter my debit card information.

So I called it. There was a electronic voice saying....
my debit card was deactivated, due to a technical error.
and to please enter my 16 digit card #
I entered a fake. (To see where this was going) They said it was invalid.
I entered a # from an old bank card i'd kept because the card is pretty
(that bank dissolved 10 years ago)
The # was repeated to me then excepted.
I was asked for expiration date.(made one up)
Then pin number.(also made up)
It accepted all, thanked me for my prompt attention and hung up.

Yeah it was a scam. I usually check them out. Report them, then text. STOP to the number 2xs
2 days in a row. That's how verizon told me to stop text solicitation.
Their system automatically checks #'s that are asked to stop,to repeatedly.
Then deactivates till they get a responce. I don't know about other carriers
It usually works for me sooo....

is the perpetrator of bank card & bank account fraud.  

DO NOT provide any information to this phone/text number.

How do I report SMS spam and phishing to cell phone carriers?

1. Forward the message to 7726 (which spells ?SPAM? on most phone keypads). Please don?t edit the message or add any comments ? just forward it to 7726. The 7726 program is an anti-fraud effort between AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-mobile to help eliminate spam by sharing SMS phishing data among the carriers.

2. You?ll receive a reply with instructions about where to send the phone number that sent you the spam/phishing message.

Just got a text to call this number. Indicates US Direct Exress, whatever that is.

I got 3 texts in a row from this number - didn't call,  will report

I too received a text, but the fools can not even spell correctly it was from USDirectExress.  Pretty lame!

Definitely do not call that number. It originates from the Seychelles Islands, in the Indian Ocean. Having said that, I just received a vtext (which is a Verizon code) from 609823754@vtext.com... Notify Verizon Wireless... But do not call the number!!!

I also just got a text to call this number ?

I got a test on my work cell phone saying to call this number.  The text came from 91946@vtext.com. I never text on this phone so pretty sure it is a scam.

Got the same message for myself and my husbands phone. Will call from work phone to find out what it is.
